There's no emotion in the voice. It's just like he's reading newspaper. Don't they know there such thing called voice acting? How can you guys stand watching that way?
@@AlexSDUis like an animated book. I remember when i was a kid, there was reign of Fire on pay per view in the hotel were i was working. It was russian dubbed like this, i am italian. I found the entire thing strangely satisfing.
@@AlexSDU pretty enjoyable to watch without a full dub. You see, sometimes our official dub is suck (cause of bad acting, mistranslations etc). Perfect example: Tarantinos Django and Basterds - full dub missing such things like accents, idioms, catchphrases and more.

space is vast those ships are probably hundreds of thousands of kilometers away from each other. even a fraction of a millimeter off and it can easily miss their target
It was a pirate jump point, only wide enough for a single ship at a time, and they did send a scout through but they destroyed it after it transmitted an all clear.
@@watcherzero5256 What got me wondering was the Kat Cap ship models...they seemed so 'conventional'--they lacked the points and sharp angles they had in the later games like Heart of the Tiger and Saga.
@@nickmitsialis The film is earlier in the war, around the time of the Wing Commander 1/2 games. The ship classes in the film are those that appeared in the games but have been made more slimline and conventional (more like Terran ships), though the models used in those games are very different to the pointy sword like ships of Wing Commander 3 onwards. Awesome movie. I don’t care what anyone says, I loved it.
Me too. One of the best sci-fi movies even they criticize it.
Excellent movie.
Checkov! Please keep it down, the Captain cannot hear the battle report!
Jesus, didn't even try to dub it, just talked right the Fuck over it.
Oh yeah, it's the Russian way. All movies back in the day were voiced right over by just one guy. Surprisingly it's quite watchable

Jumping blindly, and uncoordinated, into an occupied sector.. rookie moves. The Kilrathi in the game were more formidable.
This makes me want to be a capital ship commander. Too bad there are few games for people who like that.
X4 exists.
EVE Online exists, but...don't play it.

" TIGERCLAW "..... What an awesome name for a British ship!
There is a voice-over added to this scene that spoils it utterly.
It's not polite to speak over senior officers during a battle
Imagine how much cooler this would be with the actual legit ships from the games, not whatever the hell these floating scrap heaps are.
RIP David Warner
I get they're all firing but fuck they're missing

Because it’s based on WW2 combat.
Один из самых глупых и нереалистичных сценарных решений, которые приходилось видеть.
Великий фильм о великой войне.
Why would the kilrathi come through 1 ship at a time. And why would they commit their fleet without a reconnoiter???
This movie sucked
