WHEN Nick, his dad Mark and uncle Bill decided to embark on a new project with the most unlikely of vehicles, they had no idea how big the project would become. Together they turned an old milk truck into a daily dairy driver that can top 114mph. The family act had previous experience with customising rides and had a vision of speed for this old delivery truck. Although built for speed, this truck is still tasteful and although the outside looks original, the engine is anything but standard. Nick told Ridiculous Rides: "Everybody loves it. The older generation loves it cos they’ve seen the milk truck driving around and delivering milk. To see it in hot rod form, it makes a lot of people happy."

My Father in Law was a Milkman for Chatfield Diary until his death in 1979. I remember helping with deliveries when he was ill. The day started at 3:30 AM, we drove to the dairy and loaded the truck with crates full of glass milk bottles and covered them with ice to keep the milk cool. Chatfield Dairy delivered all over the Naugatuck Valley, Seymour, Ansonia, Shelton, Huntington. Great build, brings back a lot of memories. We knew Howie well, he is remembered very fondly

Really cool Divco. I drove a milk truck in the 90s, but not in a Divco. C-600 Ford with plastic milk crates and bottles. I really do like your hardwood floor. Nice touch. Beautiful truck.
Those old Divco’s were used for delivery trucks of all sorts, my father drove them to deliver bread forNickle’s Bakery in Ohio , in the 60’s and 70’s. Had different routes and I remember going along , he taught me to drive on some country roads in on of those. Door to door home delivery, bread and baked goods, now with Amazon you get anything brought to your home. Maybe in 50 years you can trick out one of their vans ,

Really Cool! Just thought I would mention that Vice Grip Garage has a special formula sealer to lock in that patina, and it looks just awesome from what I've seen.

Rockview Farms in Downey Ca has one completely restored with a blower hanging out of the hood. Sorry to bust your bubble, but they built it first and no yours is not the only one in the world.

I get the rot rod look but they should also restore the exterior. But then agin, its just my opinion

I don't know , a drag racing milktruck . . . It's like those lawn mowers , it's out of place.
Feels like 815hp with 4500 pounds should go a hell of a lot faster than 114 mph

@@poop_guy yeah, agree that a 0-60 would've been more applicable.
That's in 1/8 mile, not 1/4.
