@@TURE1215 It's a 3SGE, has under 180hp, while the Type-R has almost 200hp and is lighter, and much easier to drive since it's FWD
MR2 Turbo (which I have) produces 250hp and 225 pounds of torque in Japan (like mine)
GripHobby The MR2 in this vid is a G-Limited, so it doesnt have a turbo.
It has the 200ps 3S-GE Beams engine (2.0 N/A) . :)
Plus the Honda had an advantage in the tires lol
Larry Chan G-limited wasn't a beams engine as far as I know. It was a 3sge version 3 which had 180bhp.

That makes sense. I was wondering how the same people take a stock mr2 turbo and beat a stock skyline, supra, nsx, and an fd, but lose to an integra on a straightaway.

Makes sense the ITR would have the legs on the MR2, even if they were equal power the MR2 is like 200kg heavier. Stock MR2 setup especially the NA verison is kinda soft and it also came with a much more road based tyre where the ITR came with way more track biased tyres.
You gotta remember the ITR chassis is very special even being a FWD one
Mr2 is more than 100kgs heavier it didnt do to bad.

Integra even with smaller 1.8L motor it wins over Toyota's 2.0L Turbocharved RWD Midengine sportscar, i prefer the Silvia S14 because drift car

Eightosaurus Spelunk nope. That was a bad model MR2. That's why it pulled ahead. The turbo model MR2 left the integra for dead in another video.

This track is mote suited to the integra, a faster less corner-y track and the MR could’ve won, not by a lot, but still
The point isn’t that it’s a better or faster car; in my honest opinion they can’t even be compared. One is an FF and the other an MR exotic.

SW20最初期モデルのⅠ型のNAは165馬力だったのが、最終モデルとなるこのⅤ型では200馬力まで上がりました。
対してターボモデルはデビュー時の225馬力からⅢ型の245馬力で頭打ちとなりました。
当時のⅤ型の評価でも最もバランスがよかったのはNAのG系と言われていました。
ホンダがモータースポーツ前提で作り出したDC2に対し、SWの集大成といえるⅤ型は総合的な熟成の結果ここまで渡り合える車に到達できたという事が、最後の土屋さんのコメントに表れていると思います。

where is the part that shows the actual cost of the tuning parts. there a section of this video missing. between when they go to the track with the aftermarket parts

Because its rediculously fast, it was easily the fastest car in its class and price range at the time. You had to be going up a class to WRX STI/EVO/RX-7/Skyline GTR etc to beat it.
At the time of production the ITR was the fastest production car ever made on a road course , beating out the Zo6 and Porsche. I use to road race one, fastest car i had on the track and basically stock

you gotta remember im talking about in 1997, it was the fastest production car. There have been tons of faster cars after 97.
@@feckyerlife yeah. And in 1997, if you're talking ever made, its still going up against cars from Lamborghini, Ferrari, and cars such as the Mclaren F1. In fact its not even the fastest JDM car in 1997, seeing as cars like the NSX existed back then, and the Skyline GTR.
