Majority of my lenses are manual prime lens which are very affordable compared to the native AF counterpart. Your vlogs are really pleasing to the eyes (and ears). I’m always a fan of your work.
If you're just starting out and you're on a budget then definitely yes, the long focal distance and f1.8 aperture will be a big help. The autofocus might miss a few shots, just shoot more so you have more usable shots.
If you have the budget, mas maganda ung sony 50mm oss (better build quality and AF performance and less chromatic abberation) but kung budget option lang kaya then this YN50 is still pretty good, lalo na for depth of field portrait look and AF function for budget price.
Mas maganda sony 50mm oss (better build quality and autofocus) but also mas mahal. If you have the budget, go for the sony. Otherwise, ok na rin ito YN50, especially if starting out.
I believe this would be v1 (didn't know there was a v2) and yes its a great fit for the A6000 continuous AF (especially if you update the lens firmware)
Yes, the wide aperture of F1.8 should help in low-light shooting. As long as your shoot isn't pitch black and has some light in it, you should be fine.
The YN50mm is sharp and good enough for personal and hobby use. I wouldn't use it for professional paid work. My main problem with it is the chromatic abberation (which you'll notice when you bring into Lightroom at 100% scale).
