A short video of some kayak fishing and shoreside coffee in the early A.M. along with some random clips I put together. CAUTION: audio gets loud when the clips come in... so beware;)
Hey Pete. Shane from Vancouver here. Hope all is well with you. Love the video. Didn't get time on the water myself last year, and watching your trips over the Winter months has had me itchin' to do some yak packing. Looking at the Aspire 105 as an upgrade. They seem like damn good boats. Anyway....take care of yourself, and hope to see some more adventures from your neck of the woods.
Oh, that's at Lake Leatherwood...just West of Eureka Springs. The audio/mic. on these GoPro's leave a little to be desired, especially while filming into the wind. Messing with some external mic. options right now in fact. It was a beautiful morning indeed....the only time when the heat/humidity aren't brutal....c'mon Fall!!! Thanks for checkin' out the video Patrick. Stay cool or sweat trying:)
Oh...Lake Leatherwood...my wife and I visited that lake about a month ago while we were in Eureka Springs...interesting spot. My Hero 3 got a little wet and the internal mic failed, but I always thought it worked fairly well as long as the open back is on. I just got an external mic and it works great. Some guys make coffee while in a hammock...this is the first I've seen coffee made from a kayak. Some day I am going to start fishing again...a kayak is an excellent way to go about it. Hot weather is ok with me but Fall will be welcome. Carry on!
Hey Patrick, yea....mild winter weather kept me at work throughout my usual off-time, then followed by some family health situations...now its peak season for work, yet again, and just can't seem to get out for any worthwile excursions. Talk about adventure deficit disorder...I'm feelin' it! Hopefully soon I can get out & get something posted. Take care, man!

can you send me a picture of where you located your paddle holder? I can't find a decent spot to put one on my Aspire 105...
I like watching your videos for the yaking, when I can't go myself, but I hate when you fish lol, it's like your scared of them
yep, I'm scared of anything that can't blink or doesn't have opposing thumbs.....slimy little critters.
Hey Pete...you're falling behind on kayak videos! :-) Are you still kayaking? Great videos buddy!
What lake?...your audio was really low...looked like a beautiful morning there
