i can imagine a pilot of one of these things having that stereotypical "sir knight" type of voice, accompanied by a huge mustache and a habit of yelling "huzzah" in battle

You know the onion knight from dark souls or the warrior jar from Elden ring? Yeah I expect them to sound like that.
Armored Core, Mechwarrior and Dark Souls together make the perfect thing no one ever thought of.

@@Animanicks Armoured Souls could also be used as a lore concept, like, imagine this being "Possessed Armour" type stuff but with a strong enough will to do more than just be comfy in a human-sized suit.
Would also work as a subtle explanation for the brief jet power.
Heh, even magic artifacts' power could be like enablers for more heavy duty stuff to be used. Fuel for the Mecha Knight's armour they find.
As for the armour, guy could have a philosophy like "These fallen warriors, those that fight to protect, to survive, i shall drink from your strength, your courage, so it may not be lost.."
(Vs a villain) "So much power in one foe. When i break you to scrap metal, your ruins will serve as a message to your lessers." "I am not one, i am many, and as long as there are warriors and heroes i will return again and carry their torch.."
Now that i say this, holy fuck this concept has so much potential for a heavier-weight mecha fighting game, like, kinda like the concept of Fight Knight mixed with Armoured Core, with extra focus on heavier movements and slower more powerful strikes.
When "Praise the Sun" meets "ROW ROW, FIGHT THE POWAH!"

Woah, I got Dark Souls, Warhammer 40k, Titanfall, and Gurren Lagann vibes out of this. Such an interesting amalgamation
I like how they put tiny yet important details:
0:02 the mech nodding because of the pressure building up inside to run
0:15 the twitching of the arm (probably a piston) to knock the dragon off it's feet
0:20 the shaking of the whole mech
0:23 the rock that got dug out because of the dragon
0:24 the shake of the dragon's belly
Only shows how dedicated they were in the creation of this video.
I could totally envision a whole Arthurian saga with tints of Dark Souls here... Some Black Knight mecha, a Steampunk-esque / Alchemist version of Merlin, it's just so metal and rad!!!!

It looks like the minion of Sakura Wars 3 game.
This mech is a great combination of being goofy af and being badass at the same time.
The fat red dragon from D&D: Honor Among Thieves, Themberchaud, returns!
I geninely love this. The Mecha Knight moves with a lot of weight which feels satisfying, making the ground tremple enough for that one guy to fall, the way he spreads his arms back to stabilize the jet assisted jump was really cool. Also love the way he absolutely fucking crumples that Dragon's spine.
Dark Souls when the time period becomes modern day:
This is too well made for something that feels like a joke.

i admit the music is catchy, but im not sure about AI music in general, if its just a placeholder though i can understand that. over all this is an awesome animation and i love this concept, cant got wrong with knight mechs ^^
I really like the music this ai made. It's one of the only cases for me that i am thinking of accepting for ai. When i first watched this i genuinely thought the song was a real song until i read description. I am genuinely wanting this to made into a real song ngl.

Been a while since i seen something so good and inspiring, love the animation, i can see this being something amazing to watch (or play if it were a game) and i hope to see more of it :3
(My only gripe is the music as I realized how it was made, despite it being fitting to the animation, i believe someone should make their own version so it can be official)
