Hi Maaike I think perhaps because you're cool to neutral in undertone, whereas I'm extremely cool toned my preferences differ a little. I love a grey undertone to shadows and can struggle with some of the warmer taupes you mention. I have the viseart cool mattes at the top of my wishlist and it will be my next palette purchase. That grey undertone you mention will look really good on me and I like matte shadow on my 51 year old eyes. I can always add a shimmer single if I want to for a specific look, but these will be much used basics for me. I like the look of the VB and LE, but they're a splurge and perhaps a Xmas gift lol. The Glossier trio is pretty, but I don't need it. The smoke and mirrors palette does appeal to me and I'm a bit sad it was so short lived. The colourpop palette I might ask my sister to bring in June from the US. The Vieve palette I saw in H by Harrods in Edinburgh so I knew it was too dark for me and not quite as cool as I wanted (I didn't even put it on a wishlist). I really like the diamond lavender (many thanks) and I've also been enjoying the Dior backstage cool neutrals I bought in February. The Dior palette is in many ways a cooler toned version of the Viseart cashmerie, so as you're more neutral I don't think you would like it as much as I do. For me it's a very everyday palette, whereas the cashmerie for me is an excellent Autumn palette with it's slightly warmer undertone. I also like the cool toned greens in the ND retro glam and it has some really pretty neutrals to pair with those in the palette - not a cool toned palette as such, but it is more so than I had expected. Best wishes.
Recently I bought I think the coolest tone palettes out there. They are the Kara beauty Cool whatever palette, and the Goddes Nem palette. The goddess nem it's a grey tone palette. I can't wait to try them on!
I enjoyed watching this video and hear your thoughts. I generally tend to lean towards warm and true neutrals , but one cool toned palette that I love is rose quartz from Huda. 💕
My love got me the Kaszmir palette and the top sparkly shade is my favorite glittery topper. Same level of sparkle as compared to a Pat McGrath glitter!
I find the PmG formula a bit more refined than the Glamshop one. I mean, it's good, but I find the Glamshop glitters and shimmers to be a bit chunkier to apply.
Great review!
I have Kaszmir, love it. Love you too❤
I am fair skinned, gray to green eyes. I can’t deal with warm tones, lol I won’t be using any oranges. I like gray but love taupes too ❤
I def like a warm tone or two, but my heart lies with the cool tones.
Been loving your channel girl. You’re crushing it!❤

The Dior one is one that I may just have to try still.

Haven't heard of those palettes. Interesting! Hope you like them.

The Rose Quartz is a stunner of a palette.
I'm a super picky girl, and I'm starting my makeup hoard for my wedding, ironically on April 12th!
I've been liking the Pretty Please by Colourpop. A lot of pinks, but it's light and cool-leaning imo
I'd love to try it but it was sold out for the longest time.

@@FloatinginDreams Well, that's pretty much any glitters that isn't PmG!
