I’ve been looking for a good cool toned palette! Everyone always recommends Colourpop Stone Cold Fox but every single time I look at it I’m like - how is that cool toned? It’s mostly warm shades! I’m so happy to see someone else say it too! 🙌
I have seen the Lime Crime Venus Immortalis very recently at the re-booted JC Penney beauty department here in the US. The Sephora/JC Penney partnership seems to have disappeared, and now the department store has re-opened their beauty department with some interesting different brands like Lime Crime.

As a cool to neutral girl myself, I'm also not thrilled with working grays even though I essentially like grays. It's just very hard to find the right gray, at least for me. I like your choices and I also wondered about Colourpop's Deja Brew, looking at swatches it looks like it could be a bit more cool toned than That's Taupe.
Looks like I will finally buy Catrice's Diamond Lavender palette. I've heard so many mixed reviews that I gave up in the end but oh, well, if it doesn't work for me at least it's not expensive!

me clicking on this video in disbelief thinking for sure there will be half of the palettes neutral/warm because there definitely is not even 43 cooltones palette on the market :D :D ...but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that someone finally understand the colour temperature, so much respect for you. (though I would not include Cold Brew from Kaleidos but I can see how it can work on someone with more neutral leaning undertone). I am that person on the very end of the spectrum so often even true neutrals clash with my undertone( like the cold brew or melt maryjane would be too warm on my eyes) so I want to shout or cry everytime someone calls any 'not orange' palette cooltoned (Hello Natasha Denona I dont need this nude palette :D) I think the best in the cool toned range is Colourpop which sadly is not my favourite formula but they are one of the few brands that don't shy away from completely cooltoned palette without a warm brown addition. And I'm not even gonna start on Pat Mcgrath, completely agree with all you said
Cold Brew pulls like a cooler toned brown on me when I apply it. There is only one shade with a touch of yellow to it.
I ordered both palettes from the new collection so definitely high hopes for the Venus Trap that looks like the coolest nude palette from all of the Kaleidos quads so far

The shimmer formula in the adept Minka eyeshadow palette is my favorite type of shimmer, and so many people do not like it, makeup is so subjective.
I have light neutral undertone, leaning golden, and I do prefer a warm tone, but I still love cool tones.
I actually enjoy rearranging my eyeshadow palettes and I use them more, because with every eyeshadow palette I have bought I do not like all the shades.

Love ranking videos😀 I have some palettes you mentioned and I enjoy using the Lilas quad from Viseart, Vega and Subliminal. My number one palette is Cashmerie though for what you mentioned, it also has some warm tones. I love subliminal in winter although I don´t think it is worth the price it is great fun to play with it. I am curious about the new ND need a nude palette but at the moment I have enough shadows 😁I have also been curious about the Rose Quartz but somehow I see it too pink. Would you say that you are able to make looks with it that do not look pink?
There are only two actual pinks in the Rose Quartz. It's super easy to not do a pink look. I have several looks up with this palette. Just search the name on the blog.

Hi Maaike interesting to see the ranking with some old favourites falling down the list. As I said the other day about gloss gods, I will look out for something similar to the smoke and mirrors in the future. I still like the Zoeva en taupe and the Too Faced white chocolate too lol. The Viseart lilas is a favourite, but partly because it's so small and convenient (that warmer shade pulls very pink on me btw). I am curious about the VB and LE, but both are expensive for very small palettes. I really like grey and grey always looks good on my very cool undertone (with grey eyes and ashier blonde hair). My issue with some of the greys in palettes is they're often really dark and grey doesn't have to be a smokey eye - it can be light and bright with softer shades and silver.
I have finally bought some BH cosmetics to try as they're on sale (both on Revolution and Beauty Bay), so I'll let you know how I get on. I bought a mostly purple nine pan and a cooler colourful nine pan to try. I'm waiting for delivery. best wishes.

Awesome video. I really love the Gloss Gods’ one as well. The one thing you mentioned that I decluttered were those Zoeva quads. All of the colors and finishes looked the same on my eyes so I got no difference or dimension in any look I did. So I decluttered ALL of them.
I have three and I like them all.

ND I need a nude palette, does not seem so cool toned to me. Her promo pictures (as always),are, and she markets it as cool-rose, but when you look at the description on the website of the individual colours you will see a lot of colours described as warm, neutral and then champagne (=warm), amber (=warm) ... so I doubt this will be cool enough , for me
Could be an alernative to the Mario Ethereal palette that I missed out on / doubted if it was not too warm
yes, I did the same thing, went to analyze the shades on her website because the promo pics are never true to colour and half of it is warm, there is maybe 3 cooltoned shades and rest is neutral. She should have advertise it as true neutral or just give us the real cooltoned palette we've been asking for ages. I really want to try her formula but so far every palette from her was too warm for me like I need at least more than half of the shades work for my undertone to justify the purchase
@@magicxspace5406I agree, she should just make it as cool as she markets it. Also it looks a lot like the Catrice 5pan soft rose, and I'm happy with that quality wise, so might just stick to that, it's like it's the Mini I Need A Nude 😏

I am so curious to see how I need a nude palette compares to Glam by Natasha Denona. I have seen that in some reviews it has a bunch of warm toned shades. Also some of the shades seem to be very close to other shades in the palette. But overall it looks so pretty, especially the shimmers.

@@FloatinginDreams I have seen that video, but she did not compare the actual swatches of the palettes yet. Promo pictures can be different from what you get. Angela Bright has a video with actual swatches and comparisons with the closest shades in other midi palettes and I need a nude pulled warmer in some of the comparisons. It still looks gorgeous, so I think I will pick it up during Black Friday
Hoi Maaike, ik ben erg blij met je UA-cam. Ik ben nieuw met make up en heb ook hooded eyes. Ik ben fan van Essence en Catrice zeker omdat deze betaalbaar zijn. Ik heb geen idee wat mijn skin tone is en al helemaal niet welke tint foundation en concealer ik het beste kan gebruiken. Dus ik probeer van alles. Soms gaat het goed en soms is het totaal een misser. Ik heb een erg droge huis en de foundation en concealer is regelmatig een ramp. Geen idee hoe je een eigen palette samen kunt stellen maar superleuk om te zien hoe jij dat doet. Fijne dag en ik hoop dat ik nog veel inspiratie en ideeën van je filmpjes krijg. Groetjes Dimitra
Ik heb heeeeel veel foundation en concealer reviews op mn blog en hier op mn kanaal. Heb ook een droge huid. Dus zoek ze vooral op! Op de blog vind je een aparte category waar alle foundation content bij elkaar staat.

Omg that first palette would be perfect for my green/peridot colored eyes. All those colors are what I gravitate towards in different palettes. It's just called jewels and gems? Not sure if I heard the brand. Edit: I found it. Glad I found your video!
