Episode 134
Albert (Jack Howarth) & Florrie (Betty Alberge) find Ena (Violet Carson) lying unconscious in the Vestry after suffering a mild stroke. Friends Minnie (Margot Bryant) & Martha (Lynne Carol) rush to be her side as she is taken to hospital. After a mix up the residents soon learn Ena is on the danger list. Elsewhere Jack (Arthur Leslie) has gone to Barnsley to care for his 87-year-old mother who is gravely ill.

I agree…however it is now appealing to a different audience…we aren’t in the 60’s or 70’s anymore..I don’t watch it now and haven’t for many years but do enjoy watching the old ones…these were before I was born.
