  • I love my LoliVefe spinner guard (lolivefe.com/p...) SAVE 10% by using code LBA10.
However, that might not be in your budget so here is an easy way to make your own acrylic pour spinning box with recycled cardboard from your other purchases.

I'm no longer at a point in my life where I need to pinch pennies, but I definitely remember what it was like. So, I still appreciate channels like this that bend towards those who can't always afford to go out and buy that bottle of pouring medium for $10 an ounce.
So hats off to this channel and others like it that are geared towards those who want to follow their passions but not go broke doing it.

That was so timely and useful. I’ve saved a stack of boxes with the aim of making spin ‘pool’ but had thought it would have to be square. Your demonstration of how to create circle was so clear. Thank you. Also I am swimming in black plastic as supplier sent replacement for order which Parcelforce had lost and then three weeks later the original turned up! Thanks again, I love your tutorials.

I also saved Amazon boxes and tried to figure out what would work best for me.
I kept some cut down cardboard just in case.
Then bought a round 24 x 8 collapsible puppy pool. ( from Amazon of course)
Voila! Problem solved. Now I can spin and grin👍🏻

I only spin outside so I don't sign my own death warrant by getting paint all over the house. Last summer I bought a child's paddling pool for the purpose. Took ages to blow up, I did one spin and one of the dogs put her claw through it. This idea is much better so thanks very much. I can always get boxes from the local supermarket.

Also, off topic for this video, but I'm also curious about if there are ways to keep leftover paint to last longer or if i need to use it immediately. I have never done the spin technique so this may be a dumb question, but why could you not just use a shallow square or rectangular box whose dimensions accommodated the diameter of the circle? Why do you need a special box to spin as long as you can reach in? Nevertheless you sure did it cleverly as usual!

@user-co6hy4tb3c - honestly, i got pretty annoyed reading your comment!
First - english is the language of the internet
Second - if you cannot understand that so well than learn the language when you surf in the net and youtube
Third - David is a highly motivated hobbyist and i suppose he earns nothing from offering his highly valued videos
Fourth - do not burden him with extra efforts when he gain nothing for that
Fifth - there are a few other fluid art masters on youtube so you can watch their videos, if you possibly understand them better, but these are in english also ;-))
Sixth - i am a non native speaker as well but i learn by doing, meaning put in some efforts MYSELF, not to say i am perfect as you can possibly see on my mistakes.
Seventh - if nothing works find someone who understands english better than you and ask him or her to translate!
Eightth - do not be so lazy!
Sorry for being so harsh but that had to be…..

    • @user-co6hy4tb3c

@@back-seat-driver1355 Sure enough, I can understand a bad word without translation. I just started using the software first, so I'm not sure if the subtitles need to be added! Secondly, some videos can be directly translated into our national language. Finally, I know that I also need to improve my own language skills! I also said that my English is not very good so I may have missed some information, resulting in me not knowing the real situation. So are you right to lash out and attack me like this? After the author replied to me, I understood! Shouldn't all doubt be out in the open? If it bothers you to look at my comments, you don't have to look because I didn't say it to you!
