We are BACK with another episode reaction from one of my favorite shows! Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 3 Episode 7 - 'Revelations' with added bonus of Fun Facts, Slayer Slang, and more!

🤣🤦♀️ Of course because we don't have enough BS going on lets through a mystical glove of FAFO in the mix.
At one point in this episode( a different episode?) that Sarah Michelle Gellar's stunt-double gets thrown onto a (hopefully not actual concrete) tombstone with sort of a spine-bending situation. I wonder how they do that stuff without hurting the person.
Sometimes I watch the stunts and wince just thinking to myself there is no way that person just walked that off. No way.

In this episode, I dislike the fact that Xander used Faith to have her go after Angel rather than telling her the truth when he could have ("Can I come?" - watch you kill Angel) knowing he wasn't Angelus. He only considers it wrong, and only tries to stop Faith, once Giles was attacked (but by then, his earlier encouragement has allowed Faith to think she's in the right). With Faith being cut out of group conversations, I understand her decisions. Xander doesn't have the same excuse, and disliking what Angelus did for nine episodes doesn't give him the excuse for encouraging Faith. What Xander did, became the cause of so much. His actions led to Buffy and Faith's friendship being shaky and Faith distrusting the group when Buffy was forced to put a stop to Faith killing Angel. Willow and Buffy are right to be upset with Xander, and he should be apologizing to more than just Willow aka Faith, as well. It also bugs me that Xander says in the last scene he trusts Buffy. Nothing he does in the episode shows he does.
So Xander wants Angel dead because he doesn't trust Buffy. In that last scene, it's more like he's trying to convince himself to trust Buffy. Not an actual statement of fact. And once again, we have Buffy asking for forgiveness after her "friends" treat her so badly.
@@gungho1284 I agree 💯 percent. It did take me a minute though to realize you were agreeing with me, though. It's become almost a knee-jerk reaction to assume threads don't just right off the bat, unfortunately.

Or maybe she knew you all, particularly Xander, would react exactly as you did and was trying to put off the evil day as long as possible.
And Xander is a complete hypocrite in this. The only reason that Xander wasn't part of the murder and cannibalism of Principal Flootie was that he was trying to commit felony SA against Buffy. Yes, Xander wasn't responsible because he was possessed by the hyena spirit and it was the hyena spirit that did the bad things, not Xander's human will. That, however, is the point. It was the demon inhabiting Angel's body that committed the crimes such as unaliving Jenny Calendar. The human soul was not responsible for that. (Part of the reason the Gypsy curse was stupid from the start--the demon that killed "the most beloved daughter of [their] people" wasn't suffering. The human soul that didn't do it was the one suffering. They gypsies, of course, didn't care about the distinction. Neither does Xander. But Xander pretended not to remember that so as to avoid any consequences.
THANK YOU!!!! Just everything you said up there, is 100% how I feel about Xander in this entire situation. My frustration with his character and what he is permitted to get away with drives me batty. The vengeance was the purpose the gypsies made that clear so it was all malice and was meant to cause suffering how else could you cause pain to something so twisted? I can't even imagine the sick mind and heart that came UP with such a curse.
