would you guys forget about the resolution already. it obviously does not matter, they picture he is showing looks amazing. You should know it's never ever been about resolution, either way, its about your eyes distance and the PPI. You cant stand close enough to see 1080p at normal viewing distance. If you remember to, no one ever complained about seeing pixels with 1080P tv/content. The reason we have 4k had to do with LCD using the specs where plasma could not compete at a reasonable price. We dont really need 4k, and 8k is just for recording footage.
I agree with you. Stopped the video as soon as I heard that. I actually bought this device and I'm good with the pixel shifting technology. But it would be nice to watch videos and get correct information, not "I'm pretty sure everyone knows this before watching" lol
Is the image fixed or you can shift it up and down? Cuz the distance between the PRJ and the base of the screen is way too big. Anyway this is a 4K vobulated PRJ (not a native 4K) and the refresh rate at 4K is 60hz (not 240hz).
DLP chips don't last 10,000 hrs. You'll be replacing the DLP chip before you have any light issue. Looks like Hisense took some things from AWOL for this.
It cant do 4K 240hz/fps. Look wt and h spec again. No projector at this proce point can do that. It is COMPATIBLE with a 4K 240hz sognal but it will display at 60hz.
its hard to believe thats from a projector. Amazing how far we have come. Great review!
I'll be using it for a lot of Stored Physical Media all SDR 1080p 10bit Via USB Connection Is it brighter in SDR over HDR or the same 100" inch MAX
It is NOT native 4K, it is a 0.47-inch DMD chip with 4K emulation through XPR processing.
@@walterverbeeck6929 im pretty sure everyone looking at this unit know this.

Did you notice what the 1122 update did versus 1111?

What's with laser speckle? I have a 120" 0,65 gain ALR (CLR) und notice very annoying laser speckle in bright areas
How does it compare to AWOL 3500 ?

Well, that is BS as I had a Mitsubishi DLP set for over 12 years ON THE SAME CHIP. Have you ever owned one? Probably not.

1080p/240hz there's a few models i can name that can do it.
@@Joaaaaaaaaaaa ah yes I forgot to add 4k - edited the comment. Thanks 👍
24 Hz mode? I'd imagine AWOLs next projectors aren't too far away so probably best to wait to see how they compare.
Currently it doesn't work, validated with the RTINGS test. AWOL already has it working.
I wonder how it compares side by side to the other uber popular UA-cam reviewer projector, the valerion.
Add a ":" after Pro in your video title. Otherwise, it looks like you're reviewing a Hisense smartwatch. 🤣
