I love the fact that you dig up this stuff about the more forgotten parts of the Old West, and I absolutely LOVE the new cinematic intros! The music, those beautiful mountains, that animated map of Tombstone, just fantastic!!!!!
Wow, what a opening scene, thank you for sharing Santee. Interesting story about Baxter Earp. Good to see Dirty Dan and the whole gang. Take care, pew pew.
Seems like those mountains you mentioned at the beginning were the home of some famous Apaches. Won't try to spell them. ....Never knew about Earp's brother. Your videos turn our legends of the 50s/60s/70s etc. into real people.
Love your channel, best Western on UA-cam. Also love the T-Rex, the ghost, and Dirty Dan. I look forward to your videos on every upload, I've Watched them all.
Hey Santee, I'm wondering if you could do a short series of what nationalities that moved out west. The old west is often depicted as either:, all anglo American and Native American, but more recent media depicts the old west as much more diverse. Perhaps you could a a video on some of these groups, such as Chinese, German, Russian, Irish, Mexican, and Dutch immigrants, as well as freedmen who moved out west. What areas did they tend to move to? What was some of their motivations? Around what time did they show up? How were they viewed by the rest of the American population? About how many came? If any, what lasting impact did they have on the areas culture? What areas
It's been mentioned on my channel many times. Even in holiday episodes I talk about the different cultures and how they celebrated. I will continue to do so.
Great stuff ,as always. I read somewhere that W Earp's body was left on the saloon floor for hours after he was shot. Evidently , he was poorly thought of by many. BTW that's some remarkable photography leading in to this episode. Thank you again
That may very well be true. There was a lot of anti-Earp going on in the territory after the Vendetta ride. I'm honestly surprised he would want to go back there. Henry Hooker was a rancher that supposedly hired him to do some things, and he was friendly with the Earps.
Good evening Arizona Ghost Riders. Thank you for doing more on old western gunslingers. I hope you do more and find more interesting characters to do and investigate. See you in your next video
I really dig the new intro Santee. Congratulations Brother on the new awards. ( 👍 good job Dan) Great episode on an Earp brother that I knew nothing at all Hey Dan Hey Rita 🌹 pewpew
CONGRATULATIONS, so well deserved...👏👏 Thank you, for this info on Warren Earp. I knew nothing about him. It is a shame so much of the graveyard is in shambles.
Amazing video as always - as usuall you teach us something new and very interesting Santee :) . Love the new intro and congratulations to the award :) Yeehaaww :)
Congrats on your well deserved award! You guys rock! Wilcox is a cool little town. My wife and I were there a few months ago and checked out the place where he died and also visited the Rex Allen Museum. It's a shame about the cemetery, would be cool to organize a restoration of it.
Very cool wining those awards. You do put a lot of work into your videos and your channel in general, so it's great to see some others appreciate it as well. Take it easy man.
Santee I missed your upload earlier but I enjoyed it now. Wyatt Earp is my favorite real old west character. Even in the 1910's he was still very active here in LA assisting local police departments track down and arresting fugitives. Thank for the info on Warren.
Great video, Santee. I've always heard that Warren was a hothead, but that he lacked the gravitas that his gunfighter brothers had. He lived in their shadow, and wanted to make a name for himself, but wound up doing little more than getting himself in trouble, over and over again. -Desert Rat Rick
Nice to see you get that well deserved award, Santee. And Mrs. Santee making one of her rare contributions other then from behind the camera. Though technically she did so from behind the camera. I wonder if Warren Earp's problems stemmed from the fact that he did not take part in the famous shootout at the OK Corral and that he felt that he was not there with his brothers and had let them down. One of the things that led me to this idea was that Wyatt Earp would later claim that he shot and killed Johnny Ringo when clearly he was no were near the place where Ringo died.
Congratulations Santee!!! I know this is a little late because it's May 2022 but this is in my opinion the best UA-cam channel ever. Because I love the wild west. And I have learned so much in just a few months that I've been watching this channel and I just keep watching every video that you put out even from when this Channel first started. So thank you so much I have enjoyed every minute. ❤️❤️🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Santee, congrats on the well deserved award!! As a kid, I looked forward to Saturday morning cartoons! Now I look forward to Saturday morning visits with Santee and Co. When you can, PLEASE do a video on AZ Lawman "Uncle Jim Roberts"
Did your visit or hear about the little frame house one block south? In 1900 it was a doctor's house and Warren's body was taken there for autopsy. The house is presently vacant and some of the more modern "improvements" have been removed. The owner showed me the front room where reportedly the body was examined.
Congrats for the award. I think youn guys really deserve it. Keep these great videos coming. About the Earp it seem that it was not unusual for a somewhat known gunfighter to die in his later years by a gunshot. Some did survive from any tough spots only to be shot down like an animal.
Very interesting, Santee. The Earps were certainly a wide roaming family. We saw the location in Nome of Wyatt’s saloon…they did love to chase the gold. Following his travels might make for a good episode…or Doc Holliday’s. Visited Glenwood Springs, CO to see where he spent his final days. Cheers…Mush
Both places, Earp’s Saloon & Doc’s last address, the Glenwood Hotel, are interesting. Didn’t get to Doc’s grave, but he was originally buried in the Linwood Cemetery above Glenwood Springs, but I think his father moved him. He was a very interesting man.
My sister 11 months younger than me was born in Willcox. My mom tells me about Rex Allen days in Willcox and how I sat on his lap at that time. Congrats! TFS
First off nice new intro, second off if my memory serves me right I think you said you'd do videos on specific breeds of horses used in the wild west some time back. If I may be so bold can you make a video on your favorite breed?
Congrats on the Award - Santee and Dirty Dan - Bout' Time...Someone Gave You - Some Credit, God Bless and Stay Safe...Keep the Dust Off Your Boots ! Have a Wonderful Day !
Congrats again on the awards, we know you left early just so you wouldn't be deluged by all your admirers after receiving your awards. Another great episode, keep 'em coming & we'll keep watching 'em. What's Bill doing for Halloween this year?
The thumbs down knew another person who brought a knife to a gunfight.
The thumbs down never found Warren's grave when they went to the cemetery.
Woo wee, that gun spin by bill was cleaner than a cattleman on the trail *slap knee*

Very interesting. I did not realize he had a dilapidated tombstone as well as a more permanent one not where he was at.
That other tombstone isn't his. I was just showing it as part of the cemetery. His original grave is lost or hidden.
@@ArizonaGhostriders OH I thought you were saying the dilapidated one was his. Looks like an interesting cemetery.
