In Ren's acoustic version he's giving homage with the new opening to Ina Kamoze (In the streets they call it MURDER) but right after that Ren plays/sings the riff to Barrington Levy's "Murderer" including all the scatting Levy does in his original "Murderer" before Ren goes into his own song "Murderer". Ren also gives homage to Dr. Dre with the guitar riff from Dre's "Next Episode" ft. Snoop Dog. (probably because this was shot in LA while Ren was on holiday during this shoot). Also Ren say's (Beotch) in this version instead of the word (Bitch) which is in his original release, as a tip of the hat to Snoop who was the 1st to coin that word. As for guitar solo that Ren plays before the Dr. Dre guitar riff, I believe that was an homage to another one of Ren's musical influences, Django Reinhardt. Reinhardt, a famous Jazz guitarist, who if I'm not mistaken, was actually the 1st to introduce Jazz to the UK. This is very much a 30-40's guitar riff reminiscent of Reinhardt's music. Reggae, Ska and Jazz & Soul, are very big influences in Ren's music. 💖 Cheers! ✌😁
This definitely had a Bob Marley, Rastafarian, reggae, smoke a spliff kind if vibe to it that has me wakin' and bakin' 🥴🤣 You should check out the video of Ren reacting to Harry Mack freestyling about Ren, it's a short video but Ren's reaction to H Mack's freestyle about him is worth the watch. Great song, great reaction. Puff puff pass 🙏✌️
His video interview with Zack Sang is really a great insight into him as a person. Think you'd have some great things to say if you reacted to that, but it's long so you might have to split it into a few parts.

There are quite a few interviews with Ren on UA-cam including your buddy Black Pegasus, all of the interviews are brilliant and some of Ren's live streams have also been put up as videos on UA-cam by some of his followers.. I must caution you that if you watch any of these you will fall in love with him, so be warned... 😀

Great reaction ladies! When Ren is playing an instrument his body is gone and he turns into music. If you want a sense of Ren as a person that you can react to, there's a a clip from a live stream called Spontaneous Stream Jam, where he is adorable. BP and a few others have reacted to it and everyone loves it.
