"Chalk Outlines" "I Put A Spell On You" and "How To Be Me" are perfect places to start for her introduction. "I Put A Spell On You" was a tryout for "Britain's Got Talent" or "The X Factor." You'll see another side to Ren, and fall in love with his musical sister, Daisy.. aka Chinchilla. Then check out "Fingers, Live" by Chinchilla, and also "Little Girl Gone (official music video)" "Seven Sins" by Ren you'd love, also the Money Game trilogy, and "The Tale of Jenny and Screech"! But you MUST watch "The Tale of Jenny and Screech" in order! There's Jenny, Screech, and Violet. Trust us. You won't regret it. What most people miss is that Ren tells us at the start that he created a Frankenstein Monster made up of all the different flows and bars coming up in the song!!!! Then he fucking delivers!!! ❤❤
Actually his personal preference is edm, lol. He's never said that he prefers rapping over singing and/or playing instruments. There's been a lot of rap over the last couple of years because his last album was a rap/hip-hop album. Apparently his next solo album (he has an album of collaborations coming out too) has almost no rapping at all. In fact, after his last album, he admitted that he was getting a bit fed up with doing rap/hip-hop all the time and was looking forward to returning to his roots, singing, with his guitar in hand. :)
If you rewind a little, after pausing, you won't miss anything. :) You ruined some amazing moments (for yourself) by not doing so. Btw, did you actually listen to any of the lyrics? Nobody gets them all on a first listen but it seemed like you weren't trying to catch them at all... Ren's a genius lyricist. It's worth listening. :)
