Hi, this video helped me a lot, I adopt my dog within 2 months without knowing she was a GPS, she is 4 months now and I'm trying to train her well as she's going to be a large dog, thank you!

These videos are so helpful! I’ve just adopted a 2 year old GSP Dalmatian mix and the jumping/ excitement before we go for a walk is a huge issue. Thanks!

I have been looking on your channel for a while. I love all your stuff by the way. But I have a brand new GSP that doesn’t even know his name yet and I’ve been following your training for that but I was just wondering if you had a video on training them to understand the “no” command.

Is it possible to have an all black pointer...we did a DNA test after the vet did one and both came up pointer absolutely zero lab.

I think at this point in breeding any color combination is possible. My previous dog was a pointer that was almost all black with a few markings of white. One of the best dogs I’ve had the opportunity to care for. Good luck with your pup.

@@grahamedens744 I wish I could share a picture..this dog fully grown is 61 pounds, and very fit.. we got him at 4 months but he still had his tail and dewclaws (I fucking hate those, they get sooooo sharp and they're hard to trim)..anyway he's all black and has the smart bump on top this head and webbed feet. But if my dog were a lab, 1. The DNA tests would have said so and 2. Wouldn't he be bigger than 58-61 lbs?..bigger head too? My dog looks like an arrow.

Hi I've enjoyed watching several of your videos today. We have a 9 month old GSP that was neutered about 2 weeks ago. Since being neutered his treat aggression and his resource guarding have intensified. And, he is also having some issues with his crate - he has been crate trained as a puppy and will go into the crate fine - but after it is shut he becomes very aggressive as if he is guarding the crate or scared or both. I saw on your website that you do one on one consulting - but I can't find where I can sign up for this or the price or a schedule? I'd like to be able to talk to you for an hour and figure out next steps to help us correct these issues?

Hi Matt, thanks for reaching out. Sadly at the moment we're having to pause our consultations which is why you're unable to find any information about it on our website. I hope you are able to find a local trainer that can help you with your situation!

thanks for the reply. if something changes can you reach out to me? mattwilford@ymail.com - we have him scheduled to see a neurologist next Thursday to hopefully help get to why he is switching his behavior so rapidly and unexpectedly.

Seems your videos dont show the solution to the issue. Cero value, just marketing to sell the info.

That is so interesting. I have an English Bulldog (grand dog) who is now two years old. My daughter and I studied Will Atherton'v videos and we have a wonderfully trained dog. This was strictly using these videos, so perhaps you learn best visually or through explicit teaching. For us, we are appreciative and now using these same videos for my husbands GSP, and it seems to be working--although it is not a breeze!
