Great ones. John Wayne again this time Rio Grande. Clark Gable. I think Gilbert Roland did a Western or two. Richard Boone. Joel McCrea as Buffaloe Bill. Many, many more. Does Gabby Hayes count?
Hi, "Wrangler"..., ( Famous People )..., Excellent video, and this one was a tough one ! ! * Title: "Who had the best mustache in Westerns?" * "WOW ! !" * "Wrangler"..., you made this video with a question a hard one... I have ( never ) seen "Sam Elliot" without a mustache in any of his Western genre movies... So many movies and of course the new TV Series, "1883". Another hit TV Series was written by, Taylor Sheridan wrote the entire script of "Yellowstone" "1883" and "1923"... * All were filmed in southwest Montana... My pick is..., "Sam Elliot". * "Wrangler"..., an excellent video and thank you for sharing the video... It was a hard one with a question... "Semper Fi" Mike in Montana P.S.: You made this excellent video for ( fun ) and it was ( fun), including the hard question... * The Western genre movie scenes were longer, and the dialogue was excellent and with sound ! ! The longer movie scenes with dialogue..., made the Western movie come to life... Thank you... :)
These are good, but you forgot Lee Marvin (the Spikes Gang & Monte Walsh), Sam Jackson and Kurt Russell (the Hateful Eight), among others! Just sayin'!
My top three in order 1. Sam Elliot 2. Tom Selleck 3. Kurt Russell
My thoughts exactly!
I think most would agree
Yep. That's about right, although I'd give Christian Bale an honorable mention.
Exactly what I was thinking
Sam Elliot's 'stache is iconic for sure! Followed by Tom Selleck Christian Bale and Kurt Russell. Michael Biehn's is good too.
Thanks
I agree.👌
Me, too.
I vote for Kurt Russell's moustache in "Tombstone".
"Tombstone" has more 'stache collected in one place than any movie I can remember...
Sam Elliot, together with Tom Selleck , the rest are in the background.
Tom Selleck, ive always admired it in Quigley down under, followed by Kirt Russell in Tombstone.
Sam Elliot's is a classic but I was surprised you didn't have Richard Farnsworth on the list.
Next video :)
Sam Elliott then Tom Selleck
Bob in Maine: In "Tombstone", I like Val Kilmtr as Doc Holliday and Sam Elliott as Virgil Earp.
Sam Elliot. A mustache so powerful than when he is parodied on 'Family Guy' as Mayor Wild West his mustache is a character itself.
Correct
Definitely Sam Elliot!
Yosemite Sam
He’s the rootenest, tootenest, Vladimir Putinest, Don Wootenest, hombre ever.
What about Richard Boone in Paladin???
Next video :)
From the minimum (Guy Williams) to the maximum (Sam Elliot) and all in between (Powers Booth, Val Kilmer), some great 'staches here!
Yes, Errol Flynn style would look weird today. But popular at the time.
The Sackett Brothers is my 2 favorites
Sam Elliott has one of those have soup for lunch, still taste it for dinner taches
I wonder if he ever had it insured?
Sam Elliott, by a hair.
A facial hair!
Great ones. John Wayne again this time Rio Grande. Clark Gable. I think Gilbert Roland did a Western or two. Richard Boone. Joel McCrea as Buffaloe Bill. Many, many more. Does Gabby Hayes count?
Yes my vote is for Williams!
All are great but Sam Elliot's is classic.
The sheriff's out of Deputy Dawg would take some beating.
The traditional stash
Canadian actor Shaun Johnston.

Sam Elliott
First - Dennis Quaid. Second - Val Kilmer. Great Video. Honorable mention - Sam Elliot.
Thanks for your input
Bravo
Sam Elliot, that’s why you saved him for last I assume. One has to admire the well groomed look of say Powers Boothe or Michael Biehn.
A real lack of Lee Van Cleef in this video.
See my video on him in my channel, mentioned often in others like Spaghetti Westerns
I wonder how many were real and how many were glued on?
I say Tom and Sam come in equally in 1st place.
Sam Elliott too!!
Sam Elliot
A popular choice
WHAT😮??!!! NO JAMES COBURN😮😮?!!
real hard one this , but after much thinking it has to go to no1 Sam Elliott no2 tom selleck/kurt russell (a draw) no3 charles bronson..
Sam Elliot, Kurt Russell n Tom Selleck though Sam Elliot's is the best
I think thats the general consensus.
Sam Elliot -// Quigley down Under
Sam elliott
Hands down it would be Sam Elliott
I'd agree with you
and then Kurt Russell
I would agree, then Tom Selleck?
But how many of these were home grown ? and how many were fake ?
What do you think? I was looking for that, but couldn't say definitely.
Sam
Was there really ever a question? Really?
I know.
These are good, but you forgot Lee Marvin (the Spikes Gang & Monte Walsh), Sam Jackson and Kurt Russell (the Hateful Eight), among others!
Just sayin'!
Sam Elliot
