  • The solo singers of our Kozłowski Requiem concert (and recording) "warm up" before their performance. This was a year ago on 7 April 2023, backstage at the Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore. The Kozłowski Requiem is about to receive its Asian premiere during this occasion.
On 19 April 2024, our recording of this long-forgotten work is released internationally on @Pentatonemusic . We hope you'll give it a listen!

The full video of the performance is available here for our channel members, and also on medici.tv.
Featuring: Olga Peretyatko (soprano), Olesya Petrova (mezzo-soprano), Boris Stepanov (tenor) and Christoph Seidl (bass).
Polish-born composer Józef Kozłowski (1759-1831) is a contemporary of Mozart and Beethoven. His Requiem was premiered in 1798, and later expanded in form and instrumentation in 1825. Referencing copies of the original score (which has not been published in any form), Singapore Symphony Music Director Hans Graf has produced a new edition based on this more intimate 1798 version.
