are you crazy?? that horse was spectacular!!! It's rare to see a cutting horse THAT committed to his job! You really shouldn't be opening your mouth... I see both your boots in there~
You know what's funny some people say this is abuse to these "poor" horses because were pulling to hard on the bit and a horse shouldn't stop that fast... haha! that's funny.
The horses name is Screenplay My dad Bo Bogard bought him when he was 3 Darrell Calluses the rider Screenplays daddy is Fannies Oscar, Who was beaten by smart little Lena at the Futurity Screenplay came in second at the AQHA World show with Dell Bell riding…. Smart little ono won, Tom Lyons riding He was filled with too much cow really, I heard when he first figure it out what cows were he laid flat on his belly and couldn’t get back up ,just too much cow in him He was a freak of nature He was a wonderful stud with lots of personality. My dad sold him to Bobby Butler the last time I knew anything about him Screen play has probably passed away now. I think that video was made in 1994
Can someone explain to me what it means when a cutting horse lays down like that? I've seen two videos of two different cutting horses just lay down all of a sudden and I'm really curious as to why they do that.
That horse is way too jumpy. He doesn't read the cow well enough. A lot of times the cow could of just ran by because the horse wouldn't wait for the cow to actually move. I'm not very impressed.
Amazing horse. Never saw a move like that, he looks like a cat. My stallion & I used to cut, but this is incredible!!!
I got crazy chills!

That horse reads the cow better than any I've ever seen. And that's coming from a cutter himself
Thanks for the response!

Still Cowgirl The horse knows and loves what he is doing, no pulling at the bit, rider is a spectator like the people in the audience.
Derk Berk if the rider was only a spectator, you and i could win this. i once thought the same, now i know how much skill is involved.
Too bad he didn't have a faster cow. That would have been awesome!!!
unbelievable!

He is like a cat ready to pounce left or right to block the cow from getting past him.
