    These exercises rule. They cover so much of the body, and with how complicated a movement they are, they’re FUN.

      I started out with a 20 pounds that I already have. I suggest a comfortable weight where you can get in 15, 20 reps. Focus more on condition because thats what its for and not for gaining muscle. Just straight reps...

  • @shanobix
    @shanobix 8 років тому +1

    Is it best to do these by time or reps? Thanks

    • @kettlejitsu71
      @kettlejitsu71  8 років тому +2

      +Shanobix209 thank you for your comment. First and foremost, make sure you have all of your kb fundamentals down. Second of all, warm up thoroughly. Third, first try these exercises with a light kettlebell. That way you can perfect the movement. You can perform for reps or for time. Either way is fine! Kettle-Jitsu Kettlebell and Body Weight Training For a guy that has a walking weight of 70kg and fight weight of 66kg, what weight would you suggest?

    • @benjamingardner3314
      @benjamingardner3314 7 років тому

      If it's for hand speed, reps within a time frame perhaps? So, light weight, quality contraction, maybe double up a few reps or throw another move around the action. But that gets into crazier stuff that may not necessarily be as effective as doing it simple, right, and resting.

      +Kettle-Jitsu Kettlebell and Body Weight Training I come from muay thai train, in the weight video you say that 8 kg is good for start, but i dont know if for these movements, that are complex 6 is good too

    • @kettlejitsu71
      @kettlejitsu71  8 років тому

      +maxdiemek for sure if you are not familiar with these movements I definitely suggest using a lighter Bill. Remember safety is always first. I also recommend you have a foundation in kettlebell training as well because these are Advanced movements
