I never learn this type of math equations in school. Thank God for UA-cam---I wish you UA-cam was out back in the 90s and 80s..

Here's another method I learned. 3+5+4+7+6+4+8+6+4+8+2+7.The method is to put a line under the number when you reach 10 or more. 3+5+4=12 Put a line under 4 and continue adding with the 2. So 2+7+6=15. Put a line under 6 and continue with 5. 5+4+8=17. Put a line under 8. 7+6=13. Put a line under 6. 3+4+8=15. 5+2+7=14.Put a line under 7. Write 4 in units place. Then count number of lines which will be 6. Write 6 in the tens place. This can be continued through into the tens, hundreds and thousands places. Actually there is no limit. .

I am learning but still slow though.
I am really bad at maths it's like I have a phobia or something when I watch those numbers my brain literally won't work.
I want to calculate numbers in my brain like very fast but i can't i had to use fingers to calculate, i hope i will be really fast in maths its my dream.

Start very small & practice everyday & slowly you’ll get better. I think you only need to add & subtract & then percentage for maybe discounts in shops & to work out your change, but maybe not even that as many people are not using cash now 😄

how is it mental math if youre having to color mark the complimenting numbers ( would have to be on paper)
? too confusing to keep up with unmarked in head in long strings of 10 or so, maybe im just not getting it

I don't think this method is good for long strings of numbers. The problem is that you get confused, and you can make mistakes. As far as shorter strings are concerned, the traditional method is good enough.
