Hello, I’m Caddicarus. And I’m sorry. I hope you’re all ready, because you’re about to see my story about the time I spent a ridiculous amount of money on a new PC, only to end up spending even more and nearly losing my channel. I thought I’d try something animated this time and a lot different - instead of me being on screen, I figured a funny cartoon animation in a similar style to theodd1sout would best illustrate how funny and unlucky this whole saga turned out to be. This is a lot more than a minute-long Caddicarus animated - this is a huge retelling of my story animated, in a special one-off animated story time. Actually, now that I think about it, is it theodd1sout or oddonesout? No clue. Maybe this is closer to Jaiden and their animations. Jaidenanimations? Jaidenanimation? I’m completely new to this story time animated kind of video, I’m a bit of touch. How about JelloApocolypse? I dunno, I’m totally lost. Either way - with special thanks to boymylife - I hope you enjoy my true story all about my how to build a PC teaching went entirely wrong. Gaming PC build s are a nightmare, and here’s why. And yes, I not only managed to get an NVIDIA RTX 3080 PC for my office, but an RTX 3090 for the streaming and recording PC too. I’m lucky. But not that lucky. For instance, he had multiple ram sticks already. Nothing stopping you from just using them individually to test for a bad stick/memory channel. Some parts like hard discs/ssds you can just run a computer without. Power supplies can be tested with regular electronics test equipment.

I thought I had the worst luck with PC building but... You win man, you win.
I built a PC when Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was coming out, and I wanted one that could run at least medium to high settings.
What I ended up with was an $1900 DVD player and internet browser that pushed low double digit frame rates on games that had come out 6 years earlier and intermittently blue screen of death (BSOD) a couple times per week.
Finally had the courage to try again about 15 years later with Cyberpunk 2077 and luckily it works as I had hoped, with only a couple case fans crapping out after a year.

In my 17 years of building pc's none of those has ever happened to me. Wonder what the issue was.
This HAS to be the single worst luck I've ever heard when it comes to building a PC. The fact that it can be verified by another party who's incredibly experienced and this wasn't the fault of Caddy really sells this travesty.
Yes I’ve seen so many people build PCs online and seen some friends custom built PCs. This is some of the worst luck I’ve ever seen in terms of potential issues
What's worst is that is not working even though the parts chosen are top of the line and you would expect a hassle free experience but I guess that's the DIY market of PC for you
I've built roughly 10 PCs over the years for myself and others, and never ran into these kinds of problems. He really did have the worst luck ever. Like, hooboy, he might actually be cursed and needs a priest to come by and sanctify him and everything in a 100 meter radius of his house. Cause it wasn't JUST that PC he was building, it was also a laptop and a desktop.
That there tells me there is more going on. Hell, while he did test the wallsocket, I'd still err on the side and get a UPS for a steady flow of power that wouldn't be dealing with any fluctuation. Because something is up, and it would atleast protect his new editing PC.

The real question Caddy:
Which did you hate more: Building a PC or completing Cash Banooca 4?
Crash 4 didn't cost him over 10,000 dollars LOL! I'd much rather lose my sanity than 10k christ almighty... Have mercy on this man
@@hideakidesu172 Yeah if you end up spending over $10K it's probably not worth it, I spent less than $1K on my PC, it didn't take me months to get working, I can play modded Skyrim and watch UA-cam videos, that's good enough for me. But dude, at $10K it better be a goddamned NASA model or something
@@hideakidesu172 trust me, I feel bad for Caddy. He doesn’t deserve all the crap that happened to him
Cash banooka 4 in a big tent sounds like heaven compared to everything we have just seen here. Plus I'd prefer to look at Tawnas Whompa fruit than a list of errors.
@@JargonMadjin But can you do all that while recording it, edit the footage, and render it in a timely fashion?
That's why it needs to be a NASA PC.

Coming back to this, if it anything it proves that if Caddy ever did more Storytime animations, they would very entertaining to watch given his style of humor and how he tells a story. I’d watch them at least.

PC building sucks, and I say that having built half-a-dozen of the things.
Anyone that isn't a serious 'tech-head,' I'd recommend buying prebuilt or a console. The markups are worth the grief. (And never, ever, ever would I dare to try to build a PC even approaching the size of a console. Life is too short.)
