I have been here for a few years and you always give consistent coverage. Honestly, you two are as good as any of the network shows that have producers, lighting, boom, etc.. that is a real testament to you!

I think I gained 5 pounds watching this video. That skewer looked fabulous and I know those warm Cathy's cookies were great. Seems the fair is always hot in the afternoon and crowded at night. Thanks for taking us with you.

Hi Bill and Lisa, You know we all love Fair food. Fairs are always better at night. You guys showed the best of the best as always. I'm always so jealous. Ohio has some pretty cool Fairs too. Fairs always remind me of end of Summer though. Take care guys.

I would go during the day..more quiet and no lines …like the peace.
The San Diego County Fair (aka The Del Mar Fair to long time San Diegans) is in June through July 4th or through the the holiday weekend depending on when the 4th falls. Like OC, Mondays and Tuesdays are closed. Because of June Gloom, the daytime is a really good time to go, especially during the first half of its run. No lines, cool temps. A lot of the same vendors are there though I haven’t been there since before pandemic. Cathy’s Cookies is one I haven’t seen before. I hope she’s at San Diego next year. I love chocolate chip cookies!

I recently discovered your channel....I live in Lake Forest, CA so you must not be too far from us. We love Vegas so I really appreciate those videos! We went to the OC fair quite a few times over the years, mainly to see the shows. We try to find the "healthier" foods though! Would love to hear your take on finding healthy foods at the fair! It's quite a challenge! I have to have a LOT of veggies during every meal....so hard to even find a salad there lol!

I might go this week. The fair was closed on Tuesday heheh I was at crystal cove last week. The kebob, nachos and blooming onion look good. The sourdough pizza look good. Those are the angel stadium cookies

I love carnivals they are so much fun, the food is usually fabulous, give or take some that are deeply fried haha. I will not go on rides though they make me sick. Great to see you 3 enjoying yourselves.

I am so impressed with the two of you that I told my son and his wife that they should do what you two do by traveling and eating all the time. They love both. My son does have to retire before they can think of that though so don't worry about competition anytime in this decade. LOL

I wish you could try Iowa’s sweet corn when in season. In my opinion it’s the best. We have taken it to other friends out of state and they agree. Best when fresh picked of course.

I had turkey leg with bbq sauce + slaw + onion rings. Delicious. Then also a bacon cheese popper with garlic fries, buttered grilled corn cup on Thurs. day special + taquitos+ lemonade, pizza and cookie ice cream sandwich all Thurs special sizes
Heard about the Thursday foodie specials, sadly we can't make it on that day.

When you buy a ticket to any fair concert it includes admission to the fair.

I used to live in Pine Creek Village. It is just a block away from the fair. The area was super crowded these two weeks.
We can imagine big crowds on the weekends! We went on a Wednesday.

Hi Bill & Lisa. We have really enjoyed watching your videos. One question: If I’m not mistaken, y’all take containers to bring food back home. Why don’t y’all also take bamboo utensils with you so y’all don’t use plastic ones? I’m surprised that they still give you plastic utensils in California. We live part of the year in Costa Rica and bamboo utensils are a big thing there.
We take our chop sticks to a lot of restaurants but I was wondering if security would let us take them into the Fair😁
