Yes, food tour of the Mitsuwa marketplace please! LOVED this video sharing the local Hawaiian eats in SoCal. We tried Mochill in San Fran and they are delicious, but my son works for Mochi Dough (Bober Tea) and they have the best fresh/hot mochi donuts in the Sac area if you’re ever up here! 😊 We also have a Marugame Udon in the North Bay, I have to give it a try. We have Marugame Udon in London near my office and I go there for lunch often. Affordable, delicious, and great in the winter. Its slightly different than that one, it's got a much smaller menu and and is more minimalist and modern. Still has the tempura sauce dispenser :)

Wow what a nice things to have island treats where you live…I’m now planning our first 2023 trip which will be Amtrak to Santa Barbara with side trip to Solvang, CA to indulge in Danish food. I want to find the bakery that my Aunt and Uncle used to buy the buckets of butter cookies from the 80s on their drive down here from San Jose. A few bakeries claim they are the original bakery. 😅You both look really good and well rested! I’m looking forward to all your 2023 adventures…and I am going to scale down my 6 day work week this year so that we can travel too finally!!!!😊Love seeing you both so cheery! Surprisingly, Tampa and Orlando have Mochi Donut Stores and they also sell a variety of hot dogs and mozzarella cheese on the stick😀😀!!

Aunty Maile's in Torrance has the best Hawaiian food in the LA Area.
Duke's is good but not really Hawaiian Food, more California fusion.
We have a video from Aunty Maile's, great place.
The tempura at Marugame Udon reminded me of a good local spot in Old Torrance called Tendon Tempura Carlos Jr, have you folks been? Definitely would recommend trying it out sometime if you're in the area!

I love Marugame Udon. Its always so delicious. My go to tempura is the giant chicken katsu..lol. Do you have other recommendations that you like at Marugame? Great video!
My favorite is the beef curry udon, just tried something different on this visit. Saw that giant chicken katsu, that's a meal in itself. lol
Zippy’s announced right before the pandemic that they were opening but haven’t heard anything since then. There are so many Hawaiian food restaurants here in Vegas it’s hard to keep up.
Same here, last word on the street was Zippy's was coming to Vegas. Hope that's still in the works.

So glad you guys found Hawaiian food places in Cali. Heading to Maui February/March. I can’t wait to try some of the places you guys went. I want authentic places where locals go. Every time I google or look on yelp all I get is the high dollar touristy places. Any suggestion’s on how to find locals places?
Haven't found too many food vloggers from Maui. The ones that we did find, we highlighted in our Maui videos. Just search, 'Bill Lisa Maui' to see the places we checked out.
The noodles and tempura look good. I’m on the low carb diet we will see how long that last.
