How do you know which part of the hdmi cable is "out" or "in"?

There are no sides on a HDMI cable, doesn’t matter which side you put in.The only thing you want to look for, is to see if the port of the TV or Soundbar has an ‘In’ or ‘Out’.
There's no difference in hdmi cables, no in or out what is he talkn bout lol

tiene mejor desempeño con conexión HDMI ? la tengo conectada con optical , pero tiene poco volumen.
No estoy seguro de que dependa del tipo de televisor también, pero el sonido difiere cuando se conecta al teléfono móvil Bluetooth y una computadora.

My settings just say game mode on or off
@Sara Schmitt which settings? is it your TV or Soundbar?
My TV is the digital LG not smart it has two ports for HDMI one we have put the decoder and the other the sound bar. It still doesn't work
@Sylvia did you select the TV setting with remote and scroll to sound then select HDMI after you hook the soundbar to the TV?
The TV doesn't have that option on sound
I have lg tv 43 inch but I can’t make this work on my tv 😔
How can I support you with this? did you watch and follow the video?
The cable is in which plug just in no good

Honestly if it wasn’t for him I would never had connected my sound bar all I had to do was connect to hdmi 1 🤦♂️
There's no sound
There is sound at the end due to UA-cam copyright issue I am mindful of leaving too much sound from TV content on my video
