Just a thought. When you choose linear lens mode, GoPro crops in and upscale the image. Logically, this reduces the quality. Why shouldn't we shoot in Wide, taking advantage of the entire sensor and cropping in to linear during editing?

I just brought a go pro hero 9 to make some videos for my UA-cam channel. But I don’t think the hero 9 has log settings so iam going to have adjust some of the color settings to be able to color grade it.

Just got the GoPro Hero 12 for a trip - Any tips for recording/taking photos while diving and traveling? Tested some presets, but it turned out grainy and lower quality than expected. I want to capture impressive and good videos without needing to color grade, as I'm not experienced
It all depends on the quality of light. If its a sunny day, and clear water, then you will get better footage. Theres also Red Filters you can buy to help with your skin tones.

I'm confused I thought like you'd want to shoot at 60 frames per second because it's more frames, it's more clear then 24 frames am I not understanding that correctly? I don't care about slom motion. I just want my video to be crystal clear. And I thought higher frame rate did that. Please just tell me what i'm not seeing. Thanks
Recently I have noticed several big creators in the range of 80K to 200K subs getting very little views on videos compared to their sub count, like this video? Any idea why that is? It seems odd that such big channels are seeing major drops in view count.

You don't need a "wireless" mic. But dji mics with a Bluetooth adapter might work. They usually need an adapter for the mic.

Movies are shot at 24 fps. Personally i prefer 30 fps and usually shoot at 30 fps, 60 fps makes the video look like a video game.

Subs used to have way more value. If you subbed, you got referred that persons content. Nowadays its totally different!
