If the Scarlet Crusade joins the Alliance, they're going to lose all their character and uniqueness as a faction. Besides their rich lore, what made them interesting and unique were the fact that they were antagonistic Light fanatics in a setting where anyone using Light are usually neutral to friendly with the players. If they join the Alliance, then all that made them stand out as villains will be lost. Besides the fact another order, the Knights of the Silver Hand, already rejoined the Alliance during the Fourth War, so I'd say they're enough.

Literally the coolest enemy faction in the game and I hope that they get their order reformed and restored in a way that it shouldve been in the first place. Imagine if the argent crusade, argent dawn, the silver hand and the scarlet crusade manage to restore lordaeron and cleanse the plaguelands... a dream would become true.
I think cleansing is kind out of the picture now with the Forsaken being 'good' although I could see them getting a part of the plaguelands and restoring some form of Lordaeron definitely as a thing.

I mean the Scarlet crusade was the Silverhand. then the order lost track and split into the Argent Dawn, the Scarlet crusade and the silverhand. then the Argent dawn and the Silverhand formed the Argent Crusade. the Dawn actually tried hard to get the Crusade to join them again in proper, but the Scarlets refused to give up their power. also they were the strongest faction until the Lich King returned.
According to the exploring Azeroth; northrend book, the bronzebeards reported their was a shocking amount of crusaders remaining at their hold in dragonblight
Turalyon's going to want fanatical light based troops, so he will likely get the scarlet crusade allowing them back into the alliance so long as they agree to become light bound. This could somehow tie in with orc and forsaken paladins on the horde side since it's been said all races will get to be paladins
Okay, what did I miss? Turalyon "super close to the Scarlet Crusade"? He got lost in Outland before the Scarlet Crusade was founded and returned way after they were basically destroyed as a faction after WotLK and Cataclysm. Who does he know and who is he close too?
I meant as in he and the founders of the Scarlet Crusade have common history that is quite close. Plus as a Lordaeron noble it is safe to assume that he has a vested interest in the kingdom being restored.
What if the leaflets, the Scarlets and all that are to be part of the Forsaken Heritage questline? We have Calia and Lilian as part of the Forsaken leadership, after all.

I'm really interested to see where this is going. Turalyon might really be the catalyst of Yrel's invasion when it comes to the Light's dominating tendencies. There is more and more void and light themes. Wish I knew more of Anduin's wherebouts now, especially when it comes to his touch with the light and the fact that he tapped into void as well during BFA.
I just wanted to mention that you often mention Calia being on the Throne or a heir to the Throne. But Calia herself didn't really wish to have a single rule anymore. The Forsaken are led by a Council, just like the Horde itself. Calia is purely a part if it. Her being a Menethil doesn't matter as much and since she is undead, the Scarlets wouldn't tolerate her either. Unless the Scarlets are not as fanatic and undead hostile anymore.
You tend to forget the SC are fanatics of the light and she was brought back to life with the light-infused within her by a Naruu. So her being a light-forged undead and a Menethil make her case unique although SC often kills one another over dumb rumors so who knows.

I'd love a split in faction between the Scarlet once more. As the dead have been risen,either by the Light such as how Calia did and the other survivors of the Scarlet fighting over ideology,land and even the throne of Lordaeron. With the Undead Scarlets,obviously,joining the Horde and Calia and the Council for guidance and assistance while survivors go for assistance from the Alliance. Now why should the Horde and Alliance help their enemies,well just like in 90% of WoW lore,they'll try to change their ideology and will see this as a good enough reason to gain more land for the newly depleted armies after Legion,4th war and Shadowlands. As we all know the lands of Lordaeron,Arathi and Gilneas have had time to either heal from the Cataclysm or were not that affected by the conflicts.

From what I remember, the SC had a bit of a drop in membership quality around the time of WotLK. They sent a good chunk of the more 'sane' members to Northrend, and there was the assault by the DKs in their starter zone, so the ones left behind were the tinfoil hat wearing nutters. Calia admitted she had a daughter who went missing with her secret husband during a Scourge attack, so the leaflet was likely a mix of stumbled upon legit and crazytalk.

there is a way to access the vanilla scarlet monastery you just need to get the scarlet key to drop and take it to the key ring by the stairway leading into the monastery once you use the item you will be able to access the old SM wings

Secondly the Scarlet Crusade is destroyed. The Scarlet Brotherhood is all that's left. They put those pamphlets out and Blizz said that they are last echoes of the Scarlets. Basically crazy conspiracy theorists. Last but not least, Turyalon sharing an origin with the Scarlet's founder doesn't mean he'd join them or even be close. Tirion also fall under that umbrella and he definitely wasn't close with them or share their ideals.
While you're right about Calia, the Scarlet Crusade isn't destroyed. It's still active enough to maintain a presence in Tirisfal all of this time later, and just like how there are people who support the visions of dictators like Hitler or Stalin, there are people who support the Scarlet Crusade. Also, I'd like to see the source of where you got this from.

But the presence in Trisfal is diminished down to the point where there is only the Brotherhood left. That was as of a Q and A. According to Blizz, that's all that's left. It was heavily implied that they gathered almost all of their forces to head to Northrend. Not only was that force assaulted by the Scourge in the DK starting zone but also by the Forsaken in the zone. 2. Reinforcements couldn't have come from Hearthglen. The Argents took that over by the time of Cata and that was almost right after Wrath in-universe. New Hearthglen is moot because that is where they are active at in Northrend. They are somehow still active despite getting constantly assaulted from all sides. 3. As for them banging each other, the timeline is too short. At most those born there, if any, would be 10 - 11 years old. And that's only if the Scarlets were going at it during Wrath. Not enough time for a fresh generation to grow up and be in fighting form.
Arthas did not destroy the entire Scarlet Crusade, just those at New Avalon and Havenshire. That region was called the Scarlet Enclave and was right behind Tyr's Hand.
My idea is through Calia as an actual heir to the throne of Lordaeron they might change their mind. At least the guys that were not writting those leaflets lol.

But didn't all the decent members already join the Argent Dawn and turn that into the Argent Crusade? The Scarlet Crusade is over, it's the Scarlet Onslaught. So now it just needs to rename itself into Scarlet Inquisition/Redemption/Dawn.
They hated not only the undead but every other race too because the order was corrupted and practiced extrwme fanatism and zealotry. This wasnt the case when the order was established. Maybe if they can now restore it they'll be an ally of the alliance.

The Scarlet Crusade is truly one of the most memorable enemies in the game. They have great depth and just a really nice story.

Also, I'd like to see the source of where you got this from.

But the presence in Trisfal is diminished down to the point where there is only the Brotherhood left. That was as of a Q and A. According to Blizz, that's all that's left. Not enough to be called the Crusade they once were.

As for the Northrend Scarlets: 1. It was heavily implied that they gathered almost all of their forces to head to Northrend. Not only was that force assaulted by the Scourge in the DK starting zone but also by the Forsaken in the zone. 2. Reinforcements couldn't have come from Hearthglen. The Argents took that over by the time of Cata and that was almost right after Wrath in-universe. New Hearthglen is moot because that is where they are active at in Northrend. They are somehow still active despite getting constantly assaulted from all sides. 3. As for them banging each other, the timeline is too short. At most those born there, if any, would be 10 - 11 years old. And that's only if the Scarlets were going at it during Wrath. Not enough time for a fresh generation to grow up and be in fighting form.

No only the scarlet enclave in eastern plaguelands but not the monastery.
Arthas did not destroy the entire Scarlet Crusade, just those at New Avalon and Havenshire. That region was called the Scarlet Enclave and was right behind Tyr's Hand.

@@Doronsmovies They lost as many people as the Blood Elves. Scarlet Crusade OG members have to be mostly dead by now with the newer ones having spent 5+ years working around non evil Undead.
But didn't all the decent members already join the Argent Dawn and turn that into the Argent Crusade? The Scarlet Crusade is over, it's the Scarlet Onslaught. So now it just needs to rename itself into Scarlet Inquisition/Redemption/Dawn.
They hated not only the undead but every other race too because the order was corrupted and practiced extrwme fanatism and zealotry. This wasnt the case when the order was established. Maybe if they can now restore it they'll be an ally of the alliance.
