I'm 29 and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 3 years ago and i'm on metformin since then, the problem is i lost about 7 kilos, i was 58 kg and now i'm about 51 kg, My Hba1c is about 6.0 and usually i don't eat much and if i do i have more than 200 mg/dl 2 hours after meal even with 500mg of metformin. Do you think adding rapid insulin may help me gaining weight?
Please help me in my condition i couldn't find any information about skinny people with type 2 diabetes who wants to gain weight.

I since last July have lost 9kg unintentional after having covid. I’m type 2. In November my hbac1 level was 9.2. In March I was 7.5. Since March I lost 5 kg, very tired and cannot exercise now because of it. Im on metformin x2 a day. No one listens to me about my concerns. Do you think I need insulin

Yes you can. In fact a lot of doctors do. But only a doctor will decide basis your history.
