Sam saying “the energy she brought was very dull, it’s not my fault” reminded me of those guys that hit on you and when you turn them down they say “I was joking, you’re ugly anyway”. The ego and lack of awareness on this guy would be more comical, if it wasn’t also terrifying
There's lots more narcisists like him out there. They can be so charming, overwhelm you with their love bombing then turn cold as ice until you're just left dazed and confused. I think in a way this show is doing a public service and educating young women on what to look out for. Glad that Jen finally figured it out before hometowns.

Even tho I think he’s a dbag and that was a dbag way of phrasing it, he wasn’t totally wrong. He was already done, she had made up her mind and when she grabbed him for that last conversation, realistically it was over and I don’t think there was anything he could’ve said to save himself at that point. It may be his fault he was in that position to begin with but she probably did walk into that room unhappy and ready to send him home.
Him mentioning Daisy and Maria and basically calling her a third choice was crazy. You can’t tell me this man didn’t want to get sent home.
He did want to go home. He wasn't going to win. Plan B, Bachelor in Paradise.

@@karynlouisa3771 Dude must have memorized all the lines from all the romcoms as this wasn't the first time he did it. He should at least work on making them sound genuine and special to the girl instead of just spitting the lines left and right. And his whole hold the girls' head in a vice is probably from watching romcoms or noticing comments from women whom say they like their faces to be held when kissed.

In a way I feel like being the Bachelorette has actually been good for Jen. In the real world, she probably would’ve dated Sam M the second they kissed. She would’ve been stuck in another toxic relationship. But her seeing Sam M next to guys who actually care about her, see her, and want to get to know her and are just genuinely good people has really opened her eyes. I’ll admit that it took her longer to realize than what I would’ve hoped, but hey, better late than never

Jeremy and Jens date has been my fave date so far. Finally a relatively normal date and no trauma dumping! Jen felt so much like herself and they both had good banter/goofy moments. I also liked that they had real and mature conversations, seems like he’s one of the only people taking this seriously.

And i thought it was cute when he called her Jennifer and they looked like a real couple sharing food. I thought their chemistry & playfulness felt genuine while hers & jonathon fell flat
I still have my reservations about him, but I agree, at least they had a normal first date and some actual chemistry
I didn’t pay much attention to Jeremy until this episode; now I’m rooting for him-their date seemed the most natural and she seemed more relaxed and carefree with him than with the others
I very much agree without. I haven't felt any real connections between anybody until Jeremy and Jens date. BUT I can't get over the first thing he said to her: Something about his p**is being big... 🤣
Watching Sam talks is so painful. It is like watching someone lies when they are really bad at lying.

Sam made the colossal mistake of thinking because his first kiss was welcomed and reciprocated… that EVERY kiss would be. He didn’t even connect enough with Jenn to notice she totally was not into it… and just grabbed her anyway. It was all about HIM.
This entire episode I was so uncomfortable.. Jenn trying to force something thats not there as if she couldnt tell after the 100th time that this guy is full of it.
She's going to kick herself for keeping him as long as she did when she watches this season. I'm sure it's very difficult when you're in it but it's clear as day when watching it as a TV show. At least she didn't take him home.

If Maria or Daisy had been the bachelorettes, I seriously think Sam woul not have lasted past night one. I get the impression that Maria has a lot of emotional intelligence, and I think Daisy seemed to have a fair amount as well. I think they would have seen through his Chad energy a lot sooner than Jenn. Jenn seems pretty immature and naive, tbh, but it does seem like having so many different men to compare all at once is maybe giving her a crash course on relationships, and showing her that there is a lot better out there than the Sam M’s of the world.
I also do feel really bad for Marcus, and feel like his trauma is pretty severe, and is being highly exploited on the show, which is sad, and I don’t think Jenn even remotely knows how to handle it or engage with it. I hope Marcus can get some good therapy and find true healing. His story is so sad, and I feel pretty uncomfortable that he felt he had to share it on national tv.

Anytime that Sam was on my screen, I had a knee-jerk reaction to him. Like this man cannot speak clearly, he is all about himself, and I have a theory that he only wanted to sleep with Jenn tbh IDK. Bachelor Nation was screaming at Jenn to look at the red Flags for half of the season on Sam and he was becoming insufferable.

the conversation between jenn and Jeremy about judaism and acceptance made me so happy and fuzzy inside! And their date was so lovely! I felt like he went out of his way to try and impress her and make her smile! He felt really mature and earnest and sweet, and i love the energy he brought and how worried and concerned he was for jenn. Felt like a rare moment on the bachelorette, sadly

Regardless of who could have been the lead, the men were the worst cast for a bachelorette ever. I said this before the season began and after seeing their antics on TV it cemented my beliefs.

The thing is there are soo many things. If you wanna have one thing as the main thing it should be something that's less of a thing you can make a thing about - like your own things.
Then the other things like partners and things can be in a reasonable place on y'know, the "spectrum of things" thing.
Sam M is that hot guy who never had to work hard to get a girl in real life...
Jenn is a well-educated woman, and he clearly lacks an education, so this whole attraction has always seemed bizarre. Most 11-year-olds are more articulate than he is.

Sam's red flags: (if this is who he is, and not some producer concocted persona) Does not attempt to really know Jenn as a whole person, making fun of the other contestants, making decisions without asking what Jenn wants, inability to express himself coherently, confusing physical attraction with love, unaware how his words could be hurtful, forcefully kissing Jenn in the radio studio at an inappropriate time, seems uninterested in Jenn's feelings, overly focused on himself. He would benefit from doing some serious work on himself before he is on any another dating show, or dates in real life. And who would think of "aggression" when thinking about fantasy suite? I hope he misspoke. Otherwise dude needs to look up the word consent before he gets himself into trouble.
