I was bullied in HS, I currently have 70,000+ subs, not here to brag, but every time I watch myself and listen and edit I still cringe at myself lol ... it’s tough sometimes but I LOVE making DIY vids. So yes lots of youtubers struggle, it’s not just you haha
Been at it for three weeks and its slow, doing a motherhood/lifestyle channel and its very messy. Only 33 subs, im glad i watched this as its given me the motivation to stick at it and know it doesn’t have to be perfect . Thanks for sharing this, its really helped.
Unfortunately, I got about 20 minutes into it and had to stop. I found little-to-no real value in this video. It's more of a generic motivational video that could be applied to just about anyone in just about any situation. But when we talk about starting/growing business, it means people are typically dedicating valuable resources (time and money) to their venture. I think it's a bit irresponsible for anyone to give out "advice" to people if a person isn't fully credentialed. And that doesn't mean successful on UA-cam. People spend many thousands of dollars to become formally educated and trained in business and there's a LOT to learn. Businesses fail far more often than they succeed for many different reasons. And this is because there is so much more to it than waking up and convincing yourself that you have to move forward toward your dreams. Sometimes fear can serve a purpose -- stops you from making reckless decisions and force you to do your due diligence. It's important to pursue dreams. But it's more important to make informed, and educated decisions. Otherwise, you just might find yourself broke and in extreme debt. I feel people who provide advice should be very credentialed in the field they are speaking cause the consequences are felt by other people. And many times it's not a positive ending. I think with regard to people starting on UA-cam, it would be more beneficial to give them specifics that are proven. One example would be to provide data that will help them. Possibly something like "data supports that posting your video at X pm. will be seen by the most people because....". Or, data shows that 67% of UA-camrs are male and in the market for.....". I think this type of information is much more valuable and useful than "have no fear....". Just my "two cents". However, I do hope others can get something good from the video. By the way, brainstorming is done by more than one person. Can't brainstorm alone.
Not only in business, but in life itself. There´s hundreds of thousands of people not well prepared to give advice to others on the internet, but they do, and sometimes, they conquer even better with lies than those who are prepared.
This video really helps a lot, I am overcoming a lot of things right now fear, doubt, anxiety all of it. For a long time, I have been back and forth being a successful youtuber and also that I can't do this. There are skills that I don't know. It will take time I know it. One day maybe I will be at the level like most youtubers are now but I will keep being myself, I will keep learning and growing. I have a troubled mind and a troubled heart but I know that I am overcoming too. I am practicing most days my confidence, my passion and my creativity are growing more and more every day. Thank you, Sean, for everything, I will keep watching your videos. I quit youtube back in 2018 because I wasn't ready and I have so much conflict in my life but my conflict is decreasing and maybe this year or next year, I will do my videos Why I Left UA-cam and Why I Came Back To UA-cam. There is still a lot of learning and growing but it will be well worth it.

I have not started on youtube yet. I am narrowing down exactly what my content will be, as of right now I have too many ideas swirling around and I am afraid my content would end up being too inconsistent and not attract viewers. Like it was said before when trying to appeal and reach to everyone you will reach no one.
Christian started in January. He is building slowly as I am learning all I can to edit, film, and UA-cam. He has a dream to be a you tuber and the kids at school have told him he is not a real channel. We thought he was going to be kicked out of school this year but his desire to have this channel and the focus on travel has helped him to develop the skills needed to build his balance, cross his mid-line, and understand his sensory needs. We are moving slow but we are moving forward.

The thought of talking to a camera scares the hell out of me, I do cooking on my channel and just use music and only my hands in shot, everyone tells me to do an introduction video but can’t get over the nerves.
