IMO, Beth Tweddle is the best of the best, and the biggest uneven bars pioneer in history. THAT Tweddle-Ezhova-Van-Leeuwen combo is so incredibly difficult, and the most aesthetically pleasing connection I've ever seen- what makes it different from other release, transition, transition combinations is the half turn in every skill, which honestly makes the whole thing look so beautiful, and she does it with such ease! Such a shame about that large step at the Olympics, because if it wasn't for that, then she would have won gold undoubtedly, but a bronze at the Olympics is a huge achievement anyway!
She was so exciting to watch, wasn't she?
Beth was fenomenal in bars.
The most accurate ranking of the bars
Thanks. It's really just my list and it was very hard deciding between Khorkina, Mustafina & Komova for the top spot.
Both Vika and Mustafina are pretty even on the bars. I will not be surprised to see both of them tie for gold.
Hmm, I do want to see a battle between Nastia, He Kexin, Vika, Mustafina and Khorkina.
That would be an epic battle.
at the end of all nistatina would probably win, she always gives her best at big final competitions
mustafina*
I was hoping Komova would go to Rio as she definitely had a shot at the bars title. She was wise not to push the back issues though.
Khorkina was nailing handstands before they even mattered
Yes she was!
What? Khorkina's handstands would have been hammered in today's judging.
Are you talking about her handstand at 4:06 or 4:23? Lol
In general she was pretty good with handstands in a time when they weren’t all that important. Of course she didn’t hit all of them but she was better than her competitors in those eras. And you’re mentioning pirouettes, and NO gymnasts were trying to finish 1.5’s on top of the bar in those days. I don’t even know if it was a deduction because literally all of them completed the last half nearly into the next skill or giant LOL.
I'd prefer Vika over all of this gymnasts (even Nadia). Her legs are glued to each other. That's so pleasant to watch
She has, in my eyes, a "magic" quality that only a few gymnasts have, which is that she looks very light, even with her height, as if gravity didn't have an impact on her, her landings, transitions, releases,... they all look very subtle, as if she was weightless, which is why she is so beautiful to watch.
@@Gymnastly Agree, she definetly has this quality and she uses it in the right way
Vika is Queen of UB.
yes ... yes ...yes!!!
You are the first person that Iam agree with your TOP 5 un al the world.
Svetlana is best UB Ever !!!
Yeah! She won 2 Olympic & 5 world titles for a reason.
I love how it showed 2 of Aliya's dismounts while it just showed one for all the others
Because she has got two gold medals 😉
@@austinxa2339 Yeah!!😋
Vika got two as well.
@@LaurenThompsonIsMyRealName Yeah
You are killin it with these lists! If you combined the high flying skills of Tweedle and the consistency of Mustafina, that would be an unstoppable monster of the Uneven Bars! - dreams- if only...
They are so perfect everything they do is so put together and smooth!!!
Thanks for the good music. Adds to the lovely effect of the gymnasts’ grace.
Yes, grace is a word that's getting harder to find in artistic gymnastics nowadays.
Wow! So amazing!
Thank you!
Amazing top 3 👏🏽
great list and the order imo is spot on!!!
Thanks. I'm glad you like it.
Beth Tweddle should be the top of this ranking... shame she only bronze on Olympics but she is multiple world champion so no shame at all.
If Komova didn't hit the bar in the bar final in London would have she been the gold medalist on that event?
Difficult to tell, but she was definitely exquisite here.
The deduction was 0.5 for that so if she didn t hit it her score would have been 16.166 and she would have got the golden with 0.033 in front of Aliya
Wissale Ch It was a shame that Komova made that mistake and the one on vault at the AA, as she had got the highest scores on all 4 events after qualifying ahead of Aly Raisman.
@@Gymnastly oh thank you for replying. Yes, it was a shame I remember getting angry when I saw that vault and even more at the bars final but well let s hope she continues with the sport and hopefully have a spot at a major or medal again, her lines and form are just so beautiful to watch
yes, cuz a margin with Alia is about 0,4, but deduction was 0,5, so she could take that gold medal
Queen Mustafina 👑
👑👸👑
Not famous bc she never competed the skills at Worlds or the Olympics, but Zhou Duan’s 1997 East Asian Games routine is Unreal and decades ahead of its time! Impossible to replicate even today. Unfortunately as so often the case, she was so poorly scored.
Check out my "6 Amazing UB Skills" video for Zhou Duan's skill.
why i think beth tweddle should be no. 1? from high bar to low bar then to high bar again, she is so efficient
Both Komova and Mustafina can do high-low-high bar. You can even see Mustafina's on this video. In their cases, they added elegance to their gymnastics, something that Beth trades for power.
take it easy she's great, but #1? ??
No way. This is of opinion.Vika has been ranked #1how many times on UB.Even has Komova1 and Komova2.Vika is Queen of UB.
What about Nadia Comaneci
She's not on this video, but you can check out my others videos featuring Nadia.
He Kexin ?
Mustafina did very well.
Nastia placed higher than Beth, seriously?
It was a close call. The fact that Nastia was an Olympic gold medal winner and got the same score as the gold medal winner, He Keixin, in Beijin 2008 had some weight on her placement on this particular video.
Just Artistic Gymnastics True that. I think Beth is the only one on the list who isn't part of the big 4 countries. Isn't Beth the most decorated modern day gymnast? Medal count wise.
Kim Williams on UB? Nooo
@@jojox9791 Well, Beth definitely is the best and most innovative UB worker ever!
@@leanderhartley4987 shes amazing. I wouldn't say best "ever" but this is artistic gymnastics and wide open to interpretation. She definitely falls in my top spots though
Okay everyone please dont attack me for this, but I have never been a huge Mustafina fan. What am I not seeing? I want to love her like I love Vika!
You like what you like, nobody should attack u for that.
If all 6 of these women competed against each other, I would guess that the order would be:
1. Aliya Mustafina
2. Nastia Liukin
3. Beth Tweddle
4. Svetlana Khorkina
5. He Kexin
6. Victoria Komova
That's an interesting order!
Vika last are you kidding me?
@@LaurenThompsonIsMyRealName Vika is amazing, however she's just not that consistent. For example, in the 2012 bars finals, she finished 6th due to banging her feet on the low bar. Don't get me wrong, she's amazing, just not as consistent as some others
Where’s Kocian?
Sadly, there were many gymnasts who didn't make it and who could have been on the list, but there was only room for 6 of them. Keep an eye out for Madison showing up on a future "6 Amazing" video, though.
@@Gymnastly Maxi Gnauck really should be on here too! On bars she has one Olympic gold, three world champion golds and for Europeans a gold and bronze!
KhorQUEENa!
Oh, yeah!
What about Maddison Kocian ?
Keep an eye out for future 6 amazing gymnastics series coming to my channel, she will be there.
she is very good but her landing with the feet apart ugly and zero artistic
Olga korbut should be there !
Keep an eye out for future "6 Amazing" UB videos and you'll see Olga. It's always tough to make this videos as you have to leave somebody out.
Hey remember Daniel Silivas
- Mukhina -
Yeah, Mukhina deserves a whole video about her. Keep an eye out for it.
Yao Jinnan should be in
There are many good gymnasts that I had to leave out so there's definitely room for another 6 Amazing UB Workers video, keep en eye out for that as Yao Jinnan is likely to be in it.
And now add Nina Derwael to the list!
Naah Nina isn't near any of them
@@austinxa2339 two world titles, an Olympic title and TWO named moves in the CoP say otherwise. You’re entitled to an opinion, even an errant one.
I Have a lot
YU MINOBE
Vika
Mustafina
Dawael
Seitz
Khorkina
He
Beth
Teramoto
Farah Ann
Nice list, I'd like to check Farah Ann, I love it when I discover gymnasts from countries that we won't hear much about.
Am I the only one who doesn’t really like Komova, like she’s good, but so erratic, and I just prefer lines like Mustafina or Liukun
But Nadia Comaneci?
She is in many other videos I made, and this one was about my 6 favorite gymnasts, so I had to leave some great ones out.
Just Artistic Gymnastics Oh, thanks!
Bye from Italy!
Ciao, Livia
Just Artistic Gymnastics Ciao!
Still thinking komova should be over mustafina
Camille BTN I disagree. Vika’s historically had lower difficulty (except 2015) and worse handstands.
I love them both though, both are worthy of their 2 golds on the event.
If Komova went to Rio, her E score on bars would've been a 9.3 or above.
Kim Williams It’d certainly be very high. In my opinion her difficulty and execution would’ve been about equal to Mustafina. Simply because of handstands.
Musty Fan Spiridonova (QF), Seitz (EF) both got 8.9 despite the obvious errors. Kocian was overscored (obviously), Douglas had an 8.5 e score in the finals despite that mistake on her inbar 1/1. If Komova was there, she could've easily scored a 9.3 or even 9.4 on execution.
Kim Williams Perhaps you’re right. I’m thinking about 9.1-9.2 simply because the judges consistently gave Mustafina the same D score as Komova (whether justly or not). Vika certainly deserves 9.3-9.4 though.
Beth tweddle should have ranked higher
It's not a video about ranking, it's about my 6 favorites, where the order is not that important.
Kexin >>>>> Komova
EASILY
Interesting.
What about Commaneci and korbut one scored the first Perfect with bars and the other one did the super hard korbut flip
They were great, you can actually see them on bars in other videos I made.
“korbut flip” isn’t even as hard as most of the skills in this video. it was just cool-looking and risky.. that’s why it was banned
@@nmixx.changeupletsgo it wasn’t hard? What planet did you get dropped here from?
@@saragrant9749 the reason why the skill is banned isn't bc of it's difficulty, but because of the rule that gymnasts aren't allowed to stand on the bar anymore. and if it wasn't, it would definitely been rated a C/D, even Nadia's UB release from the 1976 games is still in the CoP with an E rating lol
@@nmixx.changeupletsgo I’m well aware of that. You saying the Korbut flip isn’t hard is laughable. Try doing it before judging it’s difficulty.
