Another enjoyable video! Made me think I should do the IFR ground school. My RV-4 is VFR only, and I’m of an age that it will be my last plane, but it would be helpful to know the IFR system just in case!
Thanks very much! I agree, it's good to know about the system so you can understand what people are talking about, even if they're not talking to you. Really helps with situational awareness. And hey, you never know - you could always upgrade your plane to be IFR capable. :)
I just tried to fly my plane and yet more issues, it never ends. lol Funny at the end she uses gloves. Meanwhile I have lakes all around me and the big soft back turtles that like to block the road. I just go pick them up on the sides with my bare hands and put them in the grass. Now I sure wouldn't do that with a snapping turtle, nope! lol That dude is waiting in the road. Maybe you could do some paws travel or whatever they call it. Have you looked into Young eagles programs? I have really though about that to take up young kids around to experience aviation.
lol I can imagine there must be a ton of turtles down there. I have signed up for the dog/cat transport volunteer programs up here, but haven't had a chance to fly a furball yet. I don't know if they have an equivalent of Young Eagles up here, but I'll have to look into that, thanks! I agree, it sounds like a great way to give back, and to keep the aviation community vibrant.
@@WingsOverTO I had one in the past and easier to land. Now that I’m old I’ll see if that still feels that way. Moving to Dallas do the channel is going to have a new plane and more controlled airspace. I’d buy my partner out of the Sierra but no hangar to move it to means it’s staying in hot springs.
