It is insane how much work you can do when playing with someone who can actually coordinate a plan. No one thinks outside of the box and simply just run to die. Actually thinking of a plan and execute it. A single squad with two players can be a game changer for the win.
I played a game earlier today in an infantry company and my SL was communicating with the Commander constantly. We ended up flanking the enemy everytime they captured a point and we had AT guns and nodes being set up. By far the most effective game ive every played. We infantry ended up doing recons job😂! But it really is thanks to a great SL and a balanced company, with AT Gunner, 2 Riflemen, Support, and engineer. Communication is key
To anyone building this.. make sure your unit builds a minutions node as well to compensate. If you don't have nodes you'll cripple your commander, and possible ruin the game for the rest.

Mono I've been playing squad leader after a month of playing HLL thanks to you. Yesterday by the end of an Offensive game on Carentan, I had built 38 structures! That was for you. I built at least 8 garrisons. One of the garrisons was a key defensive position that allowed us to keep pushing after we lost the garrison near the point. My squadmates were super complimentary of me, but I have to give you the credit for making me a strategic juggernaut out there. Thanks for all your vids.
On Stalingrad, due to the German terrain/tank and AT quality advantage I occasionally end up building AT guns few meters behind German tanks camping the hill line over the railway.
I like the AT gun but get frustrated trying to place the gun. Sometimes it won’t allow you to place it in the direction you want even on flat ground for unknown reasons. And while your moving around trying to get it to place, your exposed longer to being seen while your focused on the thing going green.
Been playing for HLL for a number of years. Great game. And on the whole new comers are treated well. What FECKS me off though, is examples like 8:24 when a player gets in your way and you are to use an expletive. Its NOT your game. I get frustrated too. Try to treat other players with a bit more respect please. They have as much right to to on the map as you. This just ticks me off. Its happened to me -- have even been TKd because someone felt that they owned the friggin map for gods sake. Vent over. Great game and on the hole a great community. And this video helped me understand the AT gun usage a bit more, so thanks for the video.

It's incredibly rude to just shout at someone like that and I guarentee you the people who resort instantly to shouting at people for "being in their way" definitely wouldn't have the nerve to act so tough and entitled in real life.
man i cant say this enough i feel like on console im always asking other squads with engineers and support players in their squad to get anti tank gun emplacements up it helps so much!!! especially if your on defense in offensive mode. but they just dont end up building it and guys on console i guess most matches people dont even build defenses especially on purple heart lane theres alot of open fields for the anti tank gun just rains down fire on tanks and infantry cause iv seen teams try to go for like 4 or 5 tanks on that map
Some of my best moments in this game have been on an AT gun. Kursk and Purple Heart Lane come to mind. 13 vehicle kills on Kursk, 7 of them tanks. 8 vehicle kills on PHL, 5 of them tanks. I wish more people would recognize the damage an AT gun can do with a coordinated effort. As a Support specialist, please please please AT guys link up with your Supports more often and build some guns. They can really save a game

hey Mono, one thing I am seeing a lot it my games is commanders dropping supplies in blue sectors when we could easily be building garrisons there with a support player and 50 supplies without announcing the location of the Garrison. it seems like people just don't want to play support or something.
@Mr Pickles You should go back and play COD players like you ruin the game.. So it isnt fun to have multiple garrisons surrounded a point? You think walking from HQ is FUN? Dont be a crybaby go support and drop these supplies. You can always switch the support role with squad mates. The germans have the mp40 the americans the grease gun and the soviets got the stv40 which are all 3 pretty good weapons. I really dont get your point and this comes from a guy who has 1500+ hours ingame.
Mr Pickles it’s Support is only boring if you play it with a negative outlook and lack of knowledge of the role. It’s one of my favorites because there is so much you can do. Yes the supplies for garrisons are important but then what is the difference of playing rifleman after if you just want to play for combat? You put supplies and attack/defend. Whatever. Have you ever played support with an AT? Tank hunting with the rocket AT class is a blast. Running around and providing him support to get around tanks and blow them up and giving him more rocket ammo to get the next one. Or helping the AT cannon as a loader is a super fun way to stack up combat points and help your team. Running supply trucks and helping engineers reinforce positions in offensive game mode is a super fun way to help your team. If you work to be a team player and play support the right way it is one of the most fun and most rewarding classes in the game. Also a great way to stack up commendation medals after the game.

Agree. The AT gun is incredibly underrated. It's like having a extra tank in play plus a lower visibility profile than a tank.
