The machine functions well when it is operational, but once it breaks down, the situation becomes a nightmare. The service provided by Brother is incredibly disappointing. They charge for numerous parts under the guise of "fixing" your machine, only to later inform you that additional parts are required. They send technicians to attempt repairs, but each time, they request more parts, leading to additional charges for unnecessary components, technician time, travel expenses, and mileage. To date, I have already paid approximately $3000, believing that the issue had been resolved. However, the machine still fails to print, and now they are asking an additional $3000 to "fix" it. I made the mistake of relying on their services, and I caution others to be aware of this before making a purchase. Please note that my experience is personal and not intended as a recommendation.
With all the charges you have said, it is a terrible experience. We often experience a malfunction, but so far, we can still troubleshoot. We also experienced failure while in the middle of printing, so it ruined the Tshirt.. The customer care personnel of brother where we purchased this is responsive, I think that's the lacking of some company's, the after sales service.
@@OliveBee We currently have two Brother GTX and two GTX Bulk machines. Unfortunately, one of them (GTX Bulk only 1,5 years old) has been out of commission for approximately three months. The impact on our business has been significant, resulting in substantial losses. The clogging issue in the print head is directly attributable to Brother's failure to stock the necessary parts for repairs. As a result, we were unable to perform proper head cleaning for over two months. During a visit from a Brother representative to our shop, I specifically asked about the responsibility for any head-related problems after they stock the part. At that time, the representative verbally assured me that if any issues arose with the print head, they would cover it. However, they are now denying any such agreement. I am hesitant to invest another $3000 in purchasing a new print head and other required parts as they have previously replaced unnecessary parts and billed me for both the components and service without resolving the underlying issue. They even don't guarantee that this expense will fix the machine.
It depends on your budget, I like the print quality of this printer, and while the print quality of the Brother GTX is satisfactory, their service, as noted earlier, is lacking.@@Oneman_army7
