That came out pretty nice, only thing I would have done different is to glue the little strips of walnut vertical at varying lengths to look like an EQ.
You really make me think I could do something of these projects. You make it look easy, but you can't fool me.
It's all doable, just have to have patience
@Micheal S. These brilliant handy people, all do that. Don't they? 😁
No LEDs?! Are you feeling okay? 😆
Just kidding, great work as always. 👍🏻
😄😄
My wife was like, “Dang. That’s heavy! You could someone with that!” 😂🤣 I like it! I like all your builds man! Great job man! 👍🏽👍🏽
I love watching this channel because he keeps pushing the boundaries of creativity. Watching him has made me want to create my own things instead of just going out and buying stuff off the shelf.
Thanks!
@@DIYCreators keep up the great work brother!!
@@AUS5113 Thanks man!
After 20 years in retail I recently started at a woodwork shop building custom cabinets and built in my skills are getting better cannot wait to try this or some of your other projects at home now that I feel more confident in my ability, they seem complicated but not overly so and you do a great job explaining what you are doing
I bet this is good for playing hard rock... 👻😏

Get out!
Ok, at first, I rolled my eyes. But I must admit, that was pretty witty.
For Halloween this year I found these cheap plastic Halloween skulls that were hollow. I cut a hole and filled them with Portland cement. They came out great. No I've got some skull door stops for Halloween lol
Damn...that's genius
That little piece of concrete structure sure would be rockin' hard music
But no metal...(I see what you did there. Well done!)
Really cool to see you step out of the norm and work with cement. That came out so nice!
Thanks
Inspiring as always. Just a simple tip, use a reciprocating saw without the blade on the form after pouring concrete to rid of all the bubbles. Works perfect every time.
Or an oscillating sander works well for this, too.
I dig it. The wooden middle piece looks great and covers up the crack perfectly. Nicely done
UA-cam suggested your channel because I was watching cement creations. You made cement bowls. I was wondering when you would do another one.
I love the honesty. Shows that it's doable and mistakes happen. But still looks great.
Another binge watch.... your minimalist modern look is exactly what I love...I can't wait to get back in the shop!
Also for cracks that appear I've found that if you rub dry cement into the cracks and fill them, then just wet your finger and rub the Crack and smooth it out the water will suck up into the cracks and fill them. It's mostly cosmetic and not structural
That’s Sweet, I would make something like this for sure
Um? We're gonna need some L.E.D'S on that!?!
Pam spray cooking oil from the kitchen is a good releasing agent on small craft projects
Take a jig saw or reciprocating saw and remove the blade then place the base against the form and pull the trigger. This will give you better vibration for working the air bubbles up.
I have done this before, since this is fast setting cement, it starts curing right away.
Love your projects and presenation.
I saw this video and almost jumped out of my chair to go hide my good metal bowls. 😁 This is awesome!
I love this. Super dope!
Thanks!
That turned out great!
Awesome! Thanks for the video!
Unique speaker, awesome idea friend
rock solid . I love it
You have a shop - why vibrate the mold by hand?
Place a jigsaw or reciprocating saw, without blade, up against the mold, and turn it on. A variable speed jigsaw is better, as you can spin the speed up and down while moving it across the sides of the mold.
Love seeing you experiment with all sorts of projects! Keep it up!
I love your projects, man!
Love the mix of materials, nice build!
Awesome work Glen! 😃👌🏻👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks Fred!
Interesting idea!!! Thank You Sir!!!! 👍😎
That's super dope. I want to build a Bluetooth retro boom box and those Bluetooth parts are easy and perfect.
Thank you!
Cool Idea. Well done!
Thank you
That is pretty cool!!
Wow!! I love all your creations!
The idea is great...!
🤣🤣🤣Just as I was thinking to myself:this looks complicated,he says...I know this might look complicated...Anyway...Love your work!!
I really enjoy your content, and I agree cement is a great material to work with. groovy video
That's pretty cool!! I really like this idea.
Thank you!
Amazing! Very creative 👍🏻
Love it!
Pretty cool as usual I need one
Thanks
You make this look so easy...I might have to try it!
Nicely done.
Cool, looks great.
Thanks!
Very cool!
Solid build
Love all your works...
Thank you!
THIS. IS. SO. COOL. BEAUTIFUL DESIGN! WOW!!!
Man I love your videos!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾Great Job 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾😎
If you're using a fast setting cement add a little sugar a d it slows down how quickly the cement sets. Also use ice water instead of just cold water. Both will help lengthen set times
does adding PVA help too ? also makes it more fluid and plasticy
this looks great! love the wooden accent too
One can say this is certainly a solid build 🤠🍻👍
Haha thanks
I’m making a speaker for my coursework and this helps alot
Really cool project
Excellent work
Awesome job sir! Keep it up from NC!
Great video awesome build
What a cool idea Bro! I'm building an outdoor grill stand and the countertop is going to be cement. First time I'll be using concrete. This video has me pumped to start the project.
I had a project I was planning that requires concrete so I had to do way too much research concrete and cement etc.
Its an amazing product
Could have added some foam or sponge to the inside of the speaker holes to help dampen reverb from having an industrial sound effect.
Also, yeah, adding Qi wireless to the wood paneling would have definitely been a nice addition. Overall, nice job 👍🏻
Your videos are amazing
That's looks fun to build!
It was thanks!
wow.....good idea
Awesome!
Love your channel!!!! Budget friendly and you definitely have been easy to follow!!!! Keep up the great work!!!
a very good application. I love DIY just like you do
Incredibly wonderful to watch. You’re something else!
Beautifull 👏👏👏👏!!!
Wow! Very cool
Thanks
Very creative project!
this is soooo good
Very cool brother, hugs from México City ✌️
So beautiful ... unique, strange, luxurious 👍👍👍👍👍
Bro your creations are unreal. I love it. Salute
Looks awesome 👌. Keep up the great work
Neat fun project, but a few holes in the back of the concrete would help for pushing more bass from the speakers. Neat job!!
Pretty nice work, dude! It looks fantastic! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks, you too!
Very very nice! I like the way you mix different materials, very clever, and you make them look so good together! I look forward to your next project :-)
very good technique, I'm going to carry it out, thanks
Thanks
going louder then i expacted it to go and looks nice and rock solid ;)
VERY COOL VID!
GREAT JOB!!! 👍
Very cool.
This is cool!
Thank you
Nice! When I was in the music industry, the studio where I worked redesigned my editing suite. They poured cement speaker stands that acoustically isolated the speakers from the building/floor. The difference in the sound of the same speakers before and after was amazing! So, your design will be acoustically isolated too, no matter what you set it on. If you have crappy speakers, they will "speak" in all their crappy glory! :-) However, good speakers benefit from this sort of design.
Too bad about the crack, but an amazing design.
nice build
This is rad!
Thanks
I love how your builds turn out, but that's an odd looking one. Got character tho!
The forbidden cake batter at the beginning.
would be so cool with a wireless charger on the top for your phone
I thought about it, but I would have re-wire the input power to make one port. I didn't want to order a bunch of things I didn't have on hand. The more I add the longer it was going to take to finish lol.
@@DIYCreators I bet you thought about it at the same time as me, when you tried to put your phone on top and was 5 mm to short
I was gonna say the same
This is a really cool project!!
I always include a usb port in my speakers, for charging phones, but since I have a few wireless chargers, I think I will borrow this idea.
Very nice my friend! I love the creativity and level of patience you put into your work.
You are a true inspiration!
Even though some of the things you use in your projects can't be bought here in Sweden, I really appreciate your work.
Please keep it up, and well done!
One note though: instead of poking through that foam, you could have just poured some acetone on it as it will melt styrofoam.
I really enjoyed this, what an awesome project! Knowing my OCD I would not have been able to go forward with the crack, I would have had to redo it 🙁
Looks cool, better than I expected from the thumbnail
Thank you
good job, amazing idea,....very inspiring, greetings from Indonesia
How about Resin or Epoxy I would like to see that.
Sound quality probably would be better with some foam isolation between the speakers and the concrete, more than just hot glue. But aside from that, I love the project. Turned out really nice, and plenty of options for customization in the design.
Good project Bro! Keep it up!
