Well Jesus did warn us about it. Also the verse about Jesus loving the Church... contradicts his actions, he literally lead people away from the Roman beliefs who created the Catholic Church, and denounced Synagoges... Jesus preached outside... If Jesus popped up this day and age, they'd call him the anti-Christ... Romans and Jewish had him killed, then spun it into a new religion to control the masses he tried to liberate.

I hate the idea of the submissive wife and controlling husband. A relationship should be a shared experience and needs to be open to each other about everything.

In the new testament jesus constantly defended women and told men to treat them respectively, I highly doubt he would agree the controlling and a busing women.
