Why there is no mention of mauryan empire.. Mauryan empire consist of laos Cambodia myanmar Bangladesh bhutan nepal india pakistan Afghanistan and some parts of iran.. Because it lies deep into north Africa-all Berber regions and have spain&Portugal and also south france and also have some India-area(like gujarat,rajasthan,malwa) Umayyad also conquered 80%Anatolia & two seige of Constantinople. But Abbasid don't have these areas.therefore it's 2nd largest Islamic empire
