I'm pretty sure you could copy over the same save file to both R4s and trade to duplicate some pokemon

Do you know if you're able to trade between a legitimate GBA/DS pokemon game and something like the EZ FLASH parallel running either a GBA/DS (trading within same generation). Thanks for this video!
Should be able to. I’ve read that for gba to gba games omega works and for gen 3 to 4 you can do omega to r4 or use actual cartridges for either. You will need the definitive edition over the original if you aren’t using legit gen 3 carts though
This also would be a great video tutorial since I have not seen anyone make a video on how to use the omega to legit ds or omega to r4. I’ve seen one on legit gen 3 to r4 but that’s it
I haven't personally tried this but I will now, however I'm pretty positive both devices need to be able to connect to each other and I think from what I remember I could trade pokemon with my DS and GBA SP back in the day. So I'm sure this is possible with an R4 card as the R4 card just acts as an original game.
From what I've read, as long as you have the GBA game or Omega (it needs to be the Definitive Edition to boot in Mode 2) in the GBA slot and a DS cart or R4 in the same DS, it seems you can migrate between generations. A tutorial showing all four combinations, especially Omega to R4 or an actual DS cart, would be helpful since many on Reddit struggle to explain the process due to the need to boot in Mode 2.
Regarding using an R4 on a DS to trade with Omega on an actual Game Boy, I'm unsure if that's possible.
Another cool video you should look into is using an R4 or modded 3DS to run event ROMs to an actual cart (maybe even an R4 too). I've seen this everywhere for Gen 3 games but not for Gen 4 and 5.
Also, great content! I'm only recommending this because it's something I wanted to know while waiting for my flash parallel and Omega Definitive Edition to arrive after watching your reviews.
