Thanks for a nice and instructive video, but I am unable to add subscribers/contacts into mailchimp from an Excel-file that has been converted to cvs. The same happens with a txt file. But to no avail. When I choose upload it just runs and runs (organize) with no ending. I have also tried copy and paste. What to do? I have chosen the free option.

Hi Tal, First make sure that the phone field in Mailchimp is set to 'international' (mailchimp.com/help/format-guidelines-for-your-import-file/#Phone). You'll then be able to add phone numbers as +31 etc.
Great video Gary! Quick question! In case I have a list of customers but each customer has several emails and persons to contact? For example, one of the customers that we provide services to is an Office Building and I can have the Maintenance contact and the Supervisor contact. Can I import a list having the customer on one Row and each column of that row could be called like, for example: Contact1 Name, Contact2 Name, Contact1 Email1, Contact2 Email? Would Mailchimp be able to handle it this way?
Hi Miriam, Mailchimp allows for a single email address per contact. You could have, for your Office Building example, seperate contact records for the Supervisor and Maintenance

Hi Tamuz. all fields that you're importing into Mailchimp will be updated with information from e.g. the Excel file you're importing.
