There are dumb IITians too.
For example:- the hyperloop team of IIT Madras are the dumbest IITians i ever got to know, they can't even do simple calculation that hyperloop can't be successful in future, all the companies are going bankrupt and they still working on there dumb hyperloop project.

Proud of your honesty and down to earthness. Not hyping anything or showing off. Staying to reality with both the pros and cons as well as putting your opinion of not recommending this to anyone else. What i liked is you werent happy then with your life and instead of cribbing , tried to find out your interests and working upon them and still keep your options in life always open to your interests. I'm glad it worked out for you, although i must say that decision definitely takes a lot of guts. Wishing you tons of success and happiness in your future.

The only thing I sensed after watching this video is CLEARITY.
This made me think more clearly about my decisions.
OMG! such a brave move. always remember "HOW BIG WOULD YOU DREAM IF YOU KNEW YOU COULD'NT FAIL". TAKE ONE STEP TOWARDS YOUR GOALS AND YOU ARE HALF WAY THERE.
This is coming from a student who just finished her 12th standard and advise to juniors:
1) Do not get into entrance exam preparations just because you see everybody around you planning to do the same.
2) Always aim for a career or job which you will enjoy doing for all your life, the career that does not seem frustrating to you.
3) Always follow your interests and passion while choosing career options do not run behind placement and packages idea. You will definitely loose interest with time if you aim for a job just due to handsome money packages.
the interest thing is a must people. you don't want to be the person who just curses at their jobs at tea stalls, working 9-5 on something you dislike.

you made a very strong decision and i am glad it worked out for you. I am 30 year old Data scientist here in the US and let me say a few things:
1) for doing a master's in foreign you can take a loan from prodigy, mpower
2) Any age before 25 is not a mature age to take a big decision
3) Elon Musk runs 3-4 companies, so I am not sure why some young people say that they don't get time.
4) I will say just complete your engineering, do a master's from the US, and get into big companies which pay $300k plus. Once you are across age 35, get into entrepreneurship.
Doing some crazy side hustle you might earn more than the average engineer in India but the path which I suggested can take you to such a level that you have not imagined.
It will be a slow process but much worth it.
Anyways thanks for sharing your story! :)
Thanks sir..❤❤

I attending college from 3 months regularly and i realizing that i learn very little things. Only wasting of time.
Utna mujhe sikhne ko nahi mila jitna milna chahiye tha aisa nahi hai kuch nahi sikha par jitna time diya hai college ko wo worth it nahi lag raha.
Daily 7 to 8 hours college me hi lag jata hai. Aur wahi pura system dher sare practical likhne ko bolte hai aur ek bhi practical nahi karaye hai abhi tak, Book me se chap ke likho usme itna time lag jata hai.
Teacher's bhi utne jada badhiya nahi hai.
Aur degree aise milegi jisse job bhi nahi milne wali😂😢 Diploma in IT.
Koi choti se choti company nahi aati campus me.

I'm in third year of engineering really fed up with college, hardly able to learn anything new there. On the other hand I'm into trading since past two years not into full time but yes working on. My goal is to become a full time trader even if for that I have to work in job for atleast 4-5 years I'll do that and then work on my goal.
Never go in full time trading
#samestoryboss ...I was an IIT aspirant. But I couldn't crack it.. So I did long term, even then I couldn't make it.. Soo I have taken admission in an university in Bengaluru under management quota.. I got to pay 2.5
lakh donation+2.5 lakh first year fee... I completed my first year in btech, CSE ..but then I exactly felt the same as you spoke in the video... I felt like all these theory based/not so useful assignments can also be done by kids...where is engineering taught and practiced?..I thought these are all not worth lakhs.. (I might be a little bit wrong since I just completed 1 year back then ).....I thought we can learn SKILLS better online and crack better companies.....
Meanwhile, lock down happened... We were not doing good financially...That's why I wasn't able to pay the fee in the right time ...That's when I thought,am not doing the right thing.. I will drop now..
So I did quit my Engineering... It wasn't an easy decision.... This decision took me a lot of thinking, perspctive, research etc..
So after that, I started researching about the mentors online who can guide me... I self taught programming...But by self teaching, I was not accountable and I didn't know the correct direction to learn the things...
So Now I joined a Full-stack web development Coding Bootcamp... I'm loving it.. I'll be grinding for 6/8 months and I'll be back here updating my progress 🤞🤞

Hey, i don't like my college.
I am in depression since I joined college.
I don't like it from the first day itself
I was getting very fed up with my daily boring routine and i don't have someone to share my feelings, my views and my thoughts.
I became so quiet and refused to share anything about my clg experience to anyone and that all was getting choked in my head.
When I went home, i wasn't able to keep that all in for more, so i had a mental breakdown and i weeped alot and told my parents to change my clg.
But now I understood that changing clg at my current mental state is not an good option.
So i want to drop my clg (not permanently)
But for the time when I will be ready mentally.
So should I drop out?

If you just want to take a degree then just go to low costs government college and study easier subjects so you can pass easily. Then start learning some skills side by side and working too.
And when it becomes to opportunities then you have both a degree and experience.
