The main problem with school system is: it is masons given for their need of slaves.
I have never cared about grades, as i seen it clearly how out of logic are these given. Schools ain`t real use and grades are made ups, a fear propaganda, to keep students under control.
School systems = masonic agenda to dumb down mankind. Sadly, they have succeeded, but each of us have a chance to turn it all around: BIBLE.
Without the BIBLE and the understanding of it, real life stays unseen, unknown.
Ask for truth and allow BIBLE to shine.

“[T]he tattering of the American Dream is causing individuals who expected more out of life to self-destruct in record numbers. In my mind, there is a connection between the skyrocketing suicides, drug addiction, and binge drinking we’re seeing across the country and the fact that Americans are struggling so much financially. As the divide between the 'haves' and 'have nots' grows ever wider, one could assume that 99% of the population feel that overcoming economic inequality is insurmountable. Many Americans are hopeless and resigned to the fact that they may never live the American Dream or become part of the 1%." - Christopher Bergland, Psychology Today, May 6, 2016, goo.gl/K9attH
      --------------------
"Why You Will Never Be Rich." What are your chances of becoming rich? … Most people who earn the big money have a university education. … Many tech entrepreneurs drop out of universities but most of them grew up in affluent families where they were afforded all kinds of comforts and opportunities poor people are not. In Malcolm Gladwell's book, Outliers, he points out that there are no self-made millionaires. Most people were helped with luck on the way and often this luck meant support of parents, good schooling and having fostered in them that they can do anything they want. … There is a direct affect on how much money you have to how far you go in education. Statistics differ depending on what you read, but it's thought that around 30 percent of Americans over the age of 25 have a bachelor's or master's degree. The Atlantic [magazine] tells us that more than 70 percent of those that went to top universities came from America's wealthiest families. These guys will no doubt have no problems paying off their student debt if they had student debt. In 2017 Forbes reported that the class of 2016 had $37,172 in student loan debt. If you are not from a wealthy family, then you are already struggling, just when you get going. So, how do you get rich when you come from meager beginnings given that you might have only a basic education or that your education became a financial albatross around your head? Still, back in 2012 a Gallup poll revealed that 28% of Americans expected to get rich at a time in their lives." ua-cam.com/video/_RzLP4Z4UJQ/v-deo.html

I also took a very big decision in life but then all of my progress in job, career and earning had shrank down to zero. Lost my family life too. I was back to square one with no support, except I was safe at home having three meals a day. Depression started killing me from the inside. I was desperately looking for motivation, a helping hand or at least a listener who wont judge me but listen.
With all I was going through, one day I listened to Steve's speech and the lines, "Connect the dot backwards" hit me hard. I was naturally good at drawing in school days which I love doing the most. I then sharpened my drawing skills, learnt digital drawing and now I am a freelance designer. Now I'm having fun with colors and earning :).
Point is when twists happen in life, don't get twisted. "Why do we fall master bruce?. So we learn to pick ourselves up". I wish all good luck to overcome what they are up against and say, I made it!!. Just don't give up!!.

If you have a business mindset and don't want to work for other people it's COMPLETELY useless.
Your 20s are the MOST important years of your life and the last thing a young person should do is putting himself into debt to pay off this fking college. I did it only because my parents paid for it and still I regret wasting 4 of my most valuable years.
God only knows where would I be now if I did what I wanted to do.
My only advice is don't listen to anyone, especially your family, they can influence you to do stupid things that they want you to do, just to show off to society that their kid went to college and you will resent them because they forced you on their same path.

@@e.h.1843 Most people won't make any more money actively trading than those who park their money in an ETF/ target fund, etc., and let algorithms do the work. I read studies -in college - showing that humans are no better at earning money via stocks than systems, even 'successful' traders working at the highest profile firms had no better records than just picking a diverse portfolio and taking a passive approach. In fact humans are not as good. Further, what did you major in? What groups and clubs did you join? Internships? Sorry your experience was bad but that's 100% on you. I majored in Civil Eng because I needed a degree to apply for flight school in the military but I'm completely satisfied with what I chose because it's practical, I used it, made more money than my peers, and enjoyed the work on my way to my next destination. Then later, my 2.5 year business degree taught me how to think differently about money and cultivate my ideas. Was it necessary? No. Has it paid for itself, no not yet. But my exposure to successful peers and business owners and others investing in their education taught me a hell of a lot and surely pushed me to create more for myself, including rental income and the business i"m working on, not to mentioned pushed me ahead of other folks on the corporate ladder in the meantime. I plan on going back to school next year for a doctorate simply because I like the guided learning. There is certainly value to having highly educated people helping to fine tune what's going into your brain. Is it the only way to education yourself, of course not. But like most things in life, you get what you put in. I did NOT know what I wanted to do with b-school beforehand. But all the case studies, networking with others and learning about their ideas, and learning the business landscape has definitely redefined my outlook. College is sometimes a great incubator for those still learning how about their business mindsets. Still unsure why you're offering advice to anyone... the family argument, debt, etc. are all very subjective and more a function of interpersonal or social health and money management skills than college as an institution being a good springboard for a higher trajectory in life...

This speech inspired me back in 2015 to follow my intutition. Also dropped out of school in germany. I was good student but I noticed that the stuff I learn there literally helps me sh*t in real life. Therefore I noticed that the good knowledge is out there and it isnt for free.
I educated with books, seminars, online courses and mentors in order to make more cash and have a better lifestyle than if I would have been working after graduation. 4 years later I have achieved that goal and now I compare myself with myself if I would have been in an high income job I just recently dropped out because it didnt match my criterias in terms of lifestyle.

What's difficult is "dropping out" when you're 30 and have a long lease or mortgage, car payment/insurance, life obligations, etc... and you finally have an epiphany and want to follow your dream or "drop in". It's hard, obviously, to exist sleeping on friends' couches and walking everywhere and spending several hours a day immersed in learning things based on interest alone (regardless if it advances you or ever helps you in any way in your future)... depend on free meals... that's not THAT crazy to pull off at 19,20,21 years old. I mean, it takes a lot of personal strength to live like that, but it's possible at that age and that stage in life. It's even kind of socially acceptable to a lot more people these days BECAUSE of Jobs and famous, successful dropouts like the Zuckerbergs of my generation. I mean, Jobs dropped out in the early 70's. That was very close in time to the "tune-in, turn on, drop out" of the hippie movement. So for him, he'd probably felt "permission" to do this from the era that was unfolding around him throughout his teenage years.

I feel so related to that and that's been part of my life in a way. When I choosed to drop out College ,years ago,I felt destroyed and depressed.First because I was son of both graduated parents.Imagine what a shame for me (and for them). In that deep condition of mental sorrow, I simply struck back ,carrying on studying and working on what I really liked .And first of all,I did not give up.Still I'm not doing. The most satisfying thing was that my
failure and that choice to drop out College, brought me doing a Job that I always dreamed .Even without a College degree (having only an High School Diploma).
And all thanks of years of work and apprenticeship.
The point is just that if you trust yourself and you don't give up,u realise that life could give so many chances to take your revenges.
All u have to do is never ceasing .Always "Staying hungry and foolish".💪💪💪

He's right in some ways. I dropped out in my junior year of college. During my off time I learned a lot of things about health and stress relief. Later on I used these things I learned to get control of a disability I had that doctors couldn't help me with. I'm helping others with the same disability 20 years later.

    • @MeganVictoriaKearns
      @MeganVictoriaKearns 4 місяці тому

You are inspirational. I have a mental disability and I am just incredibly grateful to anyone who devotes their time to helping people with any kind of disability to live a better quality of life. ❤
Every time a person with a disability reaches a goal that others said they'd never achieve, the stigma that surrounds all disabled people as a whole, it gets etched away a little. And little by little, achievement by achievement, milestone by milestone, being "disabled" is slowly becoming less of a controversial and less of a misunderstood label. I truly believe this. ❤
*I'm also so happy for you that you were able to defy those doctors and trust your instincts instead of giving up because "the smart doctors said it wasn't possible, so it must not be possible". That stops probably almost all people like you from even hoping for better. I'm sorry, I'm just so impressed that you didn't listen to them! Certainly it's understandable to accept what these highly educated "medical experts' tell you your limits are. Wow. You're so cool and badass. I ❤ it!
I don't know if you'll see this, since you left this comment over a year ago, but I really, really hope that you do. I know I'm just a stranger on the internet, but I think it's fair to assume that just based on numbers, any opinion you encounter is likely shared by thousands of people that just never cross your path directly.

If they didn’t do anything to help themselves what do you expect? I mean Steve dropped out of college but he isn’t telling you to do it, he’s telling you to put your big boy pants on and go get shit done.
You can have a degree or not have a degree, if you don’t have the aspiration, discipline and focus to better your life then don’t expect things to get better. Basically if you’re a lazy little shit who refuses to work their ass off for something better then that’s fine just don’t be a bitch about it

i agree with most of what was mentioned, just that, in reality, the dots dont connect the same way for every individual. we may or may not be successful, and whatever we do now may or may not help us succeed in life later on, also considering, if we would ever 'succeed'. eg; whatever great idea you worked on, the time when it'll become fruitful to everyone, is possibly after you've entrusted it to somebody else, like your children, pupils.. also considering, if the idea would ever succeed. saying that your great idea, may becomes great only after you are no more living and you will never get to experience all the appreciation.
only by acknowledging the challenges ahead, we'll become more prepared

"You have to trust in something..." even if that means going to college. Steve dropped out cause he personally didnt know why he was there, nor saw the value in it, and his family was struggling. If you can afford it, know why youre there, and see the value in it, then dont let pop entreprenuer culture influence you n make you feel like youre missing out on something that everyone not in college is doing. Lemme tell you something, they'll be the same when you get out, but you'll be smarter, you have access to something they dont, a college, and will have more doors open to you after, as well as professors, and mentors you can look back on who are happy to help you with your future, given you made those connections, as well as a tripled income that of a high school diploma(B.A.'s), its not about the paper, its the people you meet along the way to achieving your goals, and colleges are places packed with opportunity, you just arent looking hard enough, so what makes you think you'll look when you are not in college. College is a beautiful time, make sure you know why youre there and know your values. Trust in the process. I agree though that there are classes that just feel like a waste of time, but not if you reframe your value on life and learning. Like that calligraphy class, you never know how what you're learning will contribute to your success in the future.

The bartender looked up and said "We don't serve time travelers here." Then you entered the bar.
