Many many years ago, I had a period where I used something on my computer called "seti@home" (which is still a thing btw). I don't know if this was the first program of its kind and if this is what BOINC was inspired by, but it instantly made me think of that and made me a bit nostalgic since I was running seti@home like half a lifetime ago.

Vishwa Neelakandan I think it is a native app from Samsung. I miss my old Samsung that rejected the calls when I put in blocking mode, my xiaomi just silence the calls.

This is a problem i tryed to solved but i dont know how. I tryed the app Open camera but unfortunatly it dosent use the full potentil of my camera so i really have to use the built in camera app.

One plus 2 already has priority notification s mode on the side of the phone as a slider, the slider allows the phone to swtich between showing all notifications to some or do not disturb mode.

Digihud pro is what I use. May not have the app for guidance, but you can use it day or night, in hud mode or just normally, can record trips and export them, can be turned into a widget and uses very little in the background
nice video. . Smartphones can amazingly do a lot of things... when travelling I love to fill up my phone with education videos and tutorials for study... for that I use "ZillaTube", google it.. works great

For the HUD display...... you can get a HUD Reflective film to stick on your windshield that makes the reflection from the phone a LOT more visible. You can see through it so it doesn't obscure your vision either. You can search for HUD Film on ebay and pick em up for around $1, some less than that. On a super bright day it is still hard to see it, but you can have an app where you can setup Day/Night color schemes for your display too to make it easier to see in daytime.

PHILIP FARIAS No need its built in settings with the latest update 😁 if you have the update it's in settings > display > navigation bar > show & hide button.
Install Nova launcher on your phone.... select "hide the notification bar" under "Notification bar" section in the "Look & feel" menu

Yeah - Do MORE of these types of videos. Talk and text are such minor things people do with smartphones today so it's great to know of really useful apps that cause the phone to do things you normally wouldn't think of a phone doing. There is even a horizon app that tells you your distance to the horizon. The mems device sensors in smartphones is used with a lot of apps to measure and calculate all kinds of useful things.

3 important notes: regarding using certain phone functionalities from your phone on your computer - if you're using Windows 10, you can install Cortana for Android or iOS, it allows a ton of cross-device features, including texting people from your computer; if you're using Linux you can do the same using KDE Connect (Android only); dashcams are illegal in some countries so be sure to know your local laws before using it; apps that require long display use (such as the dashcame and reflection panel ones) are a terrible idea to do on AMOLED display-equipped devices because they'll cause burn-in to the display much quicker.

I wonder if you could cut a small square piece of window tinting applied to where the Hud Way app displays on your windshield to be able to still use the app during the day?
Or, maybe even a small mirror attached to the windshield? Of course you would have to reverse the phone so it would show the right way.

I would say using boinc on a computer is a better idea, it's connected to power and internet and has way more resources to compute data in the background. Smartphone not so much, if you don't want your battery to drain faster and trigger lag on your device. I have used boinc on my laptop.
