sounds interesting this bike. Think I might grab it looking for fat tire e bike to add to my collection. I lol'd at how you pronounced Gemini as Gimini 😆keep up the good work I think you do the perfect reviews bro.
This bike is on amazon, and yes there are 1200$ ebikes on amazon that can do more than 40 miles and do 28 mph. It's 2022, every year the base ebike gets cheaper and better. I bought me a folding 28 mph 40 miles aostirmotor a20( 750$ ebike)
I love my Gem-in-eye! It’s a beautiful bike! Next time try the cruise control on long flats. It is both a moped style or raise the seat to be a useable bicycle. Although “80 #’s” it is stable and easy to ride and makes a great bike trainer. Only wish there was a model with the extra options on it for purchase, the 15 AH batteries and 180mm disc rotors. Maybe coming soon!
Love this bike. I've tried a few cheaper ones and none ride like this one. Got over 1000km on it from just having it over a month. This thing is a tank ans rides smooth.
How is it holding up? Been thinking of getting one for the daily commute (40km). Any issues with it?anything to know about them before buying from them?
I opted for the Gemini on Dec 29th, 2022, for my cumute to work. My 1st ride was Jan 13th, 2023. I ride at a minimum 100 miles a week. The bus is always an option for me in inclement weather. Currently at 8,164 and two car wrecks later. (Another story for another time) This thing is built like a tank. No bent rims or bent frame. 40% more aluminum makes the frame incredibly strong! It's a beast! And I purchased another for my wife 6 month ago. We don't have a vehicle. So, getting around Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, and Anna Maria island is a breeze on an ebike. And just a headache in a motor vehicle. All our tubes have Flat Out. We get zero flats. No need for equipment to change a flat when you're 20+ miles from home. Because I live in a predominantly hot and humid environment, brake pads are always ceramic. Less noise and less heat. I did change the tires. I keep a fucare brand in the back because they're cheap and preform good on road, gravel, not so much on sand, it's OK at slower speeds. Front is a Blackcat. Weave pattern all terrain tread is ideal when running through puddles and 'ponds' on the road and bike lanes. The deep tread helps to prevent hydroplaning at higher speed so back wheel makes contact with pavement in travel. Works just as intended. I happen to like the 1 1/2 revolution delay prior PAS engagement. It's prevented me from from jumping the gun and pulling out in front of traffic. I think it's a nice safely feature for those of us that take a few unnecessary risks for speed. You know, dumb sh*t that all men do. We're all guilty of that some point(s) in our life...😅 The Gemini is an awesome machine! The best purchase I've made for affordable, reliable, cost-effective transportation. No insurance, plates, tags, fuel. Any average Moe can work on a bike. And haul up to a 110 lbs of sh*t in the back basket. I've hauled 60+ lbs before. Anything more than that changes weight distribution to much. You're prone to crash at some in time. It'll drastically change the parameters on how you ride. That's not worth the risk. It's fun, handles beautifully, and peddling 14mph for a minimum 60 miles on predominantly flat ground and an occasional draw bridge is perfect for two near 60 old farts traveling all over two counties having a lot of fun enjoying the rest of our lives. See ya at the beach! Peace
This was a fantastic review. It also confirmed what I'm noticing, in real world range tests, with lots of hills, inclines, stop N go, wind, there is a direct correlation to amp hours and mileage, a 30 amp hour battery gives you 30 miles.
range test 1 - did you ride only on throttle or used pedaling too? and what about protection from rain or water? how does those batteries protected from rain?
I know EU is pretty garbage about their speed limits... and i just looked up the legal limits as of 2021 ... 250 w and 25 kph? wtf. That's nothing. You'd think Australia would allow bigger limits, but no, they follow dumbass EU nanny laws. Fuck that shit. Honestly 750w continuous and 20-25 mph is barely enough (let alone 25 kph). What about fucking hills? What about crossing street lights? You need torch and acceleration.
Do you know anyone who has used one daily for over 2 years? I'm disabled and need help getting around and lifting groceries, a family member is going to give me $2000 for one, but I need to make sure I'm getting best value for money and one that will last a couple of years before needing new batteries Thank You Much Love and God Bless
I don't but I can say that this is one of the better feeling bikes for the price and a well established company and batteries tend to last around 5 years if taken care of
@@ElectricRevolution Thank You, You're the only one who replied Even the company ignored my email Must be pretty busy to throw away $2000 God Bless and Much Love
@@elvisparsley2498 That's awesome and my pipe dream has yet again been dashed and its my fault and I never really relied on it, but my dad said he would give me $2000 for an ebike, as soon as he said it though I knew he wasn't going to and was just using it as a bargaining tool to manipulate in his master plan down the road Having a narcissist for a dad sucks but by the time your 50, you see the patterns and stay clear. I tried to work on it quick though and already knew this maker was best and fastest shipped in Canada, so I sent email explaining my disabilities and asked for discount and, no reply, yet, it was almost 2 months I think now though, I'm not sure as my life is upside down right now but will right itself up quickly Thanks again and God Bless
Two controllers and a display in less than a year. I can't say that I am very happy about that. One more month and my warranty is up and I will be paying for these parts. All the parts are made in China.
You'd be able to reach more miles if you obviously went slower, I usually top the bikes out when I do a range test which is why I get much lower than the advertised price. Haven't tried the Scorpio so can't say but let me know how it goes if you do
wow, this is some kind of combo - such a cool e-bike against such breathtaking views. cool! ✨ there is only one very important clarification, without which the range test does not make much sense - what is the capacity of the batteries? because there is a version with 20Ah and 30Ah
Hi, anyway fro me to buy the seat? I am getting my new/used Ebike RADMini, went 33 mile use. I plane to buy two 48v 50amp batteries for a 110 mile run up many hills and down hills as well. So the seat looks good with the rubber suspension springs, where to buy from? You were a little bit fast talking, me a stroke, so I am a little harder to listen now days, just my problem. Thanks!
Great video. Both not wife and I are in the market for step-through eBikes. She has MS and needs the assistance and she is short so the step through design is great. So far we have found 4-step through models and looking for others to compare. Anyone have a list of step through bikes.
This is a great bike for people with MS. As long as you are with her, she wears motor cross helmet and protection, there’s also Xpirit full sized training wheels on eBay. The Gemini’s road slicks are quieter and better on paved roads. Good luck in choosing your e bikes! Best regards to your warrior.
@@ElectricRevolution LOL. i was loving the way you said it, as opposed to the astrological sign. made it sound fancy or maybe that is the way the company says it. idk.

Good review, but not impressed with another "me too" bike. The welds look like they were done in welding class. What's up with robots these days?

Your going to need that extra battery for that 30 mile round trip
Did you unlock the motors availability of power, or is this the stock speed limiter set level????
I didn't unlock the bike

That's a tough, I'm pretty sure the Ariel Rider goes a little faste but you have a longer range with this so depends on what you want
