The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro have now been out for a while, and while these phones were very close at launch, it seems that the gap in capabilities is hiding on the iPhone 15 Pro, however is the increase in cost still enough to justify it for most users, or should you just stick with an iPhone 15. - Наука та технологія

I’m planning to buy regular iPhone 15 because my plan is to buy the next *iPhone 16 Pro* which I think will be a game changer with IOS 18 and rumours about IA. My assumptions are that the selling point will be better with iPhone 15 (due to different targuet audience) since if iPhone 16 Pro appears to be that good I’m scare that the selling point from iPhone 15 Pro won’t be as good as the iPhone 15 itself due to this specific demand around IA. Any thoughts on my strategy ? (My friend will go to Dubai soon where iPhones are around 200€ less expensive than my country).
iPhone 15 pro all the way, this year difference between the 15 and the 15 pro really makes it easy to decide - just go for the pro. Titanium finish is beautiful.

I got the 15 pro and honestly I’m pretty happy with it. Like design wise I love the blue titanium and paired with a clear case chefs kiss. I’m gonna keep this for at least 3 years and hopefully I can stretch it to 5

I'm leaving iPhone 13 and now I'm at the crossroad if iPhone 14plus or 15plus is a game-changer here? I can also upgrade to 15pro or 14promax because of the pro features (of course, from 13th gen and pricing) but is it worth upgrading?

I had the 15 Pro but for all kinds of reasons I sold it. I finally went for the 15 Plus because I noticed that I turned off many of the features of the Pro such as the always-on display or the new button, the battery and simplicity are simply more important to me. Now - first of all the device is light and, more importantly, not thick, which makes it the most comfortable iPhone I've had for sure in this size. The only thing that is not a deal breaker for me but really sucks is the screen. If this device gets 90 Hz I will never get closer to the pro. On the other hand, I have a computer screen with 240 Hz and I have no problem enjoying a 60 Hz screen and I came to the conclusion with myself that this race is never over. I just prefer the size and convenience and battery of this device above all else. And the black color is perhaps one of the most beautiful colors that came out in the last few years.
Yea I left a 13 pro for 15 plus and I think it’s perfect for me I push it like a pro phone battery life is good and I mean I’m on my phone all day Instagram UA-cam and I can’t kill it. Only thing I think the plus should have started at 800

The 15 will do it for most people. The 15 pro is more for people who either want the best of the best on the iPhone side or are tech savvy. Personally, I recently switched to a 13 mini and I have no regrets!
I have 13 mini 512gb midnight and 14PM Silver. Mini is by far my favorite phone. Wish I could get this with the 15 / 15 Pro features, USB-C, AOD, upgraded cameras.
I keep 2 phones 1 personal (mini) and 1 business/ work (phablet) and primarily use my AWU as a transmitter device between the 2 phones when I need my screen off time.
My point is despite the upgrades on new phones for day to day the mini phone is even better than my Apple Watch Ultra Gen 1 and both the 15 pro which I owned and sold. I oddly find the mini easier to carry vs wearing the watch specifically with coats/ jackets/ sweatshirts by having to alter/ adjust my clothes to fit the device under sleeves vs throwing the mini phone into a both a jacket or pant pocket.
I’m still using my 12 mini. It’s still going strong.

@@kylecastellino6402I just wish I had the 125gb instead of the 64 that I have. And I have the 5x zoom on my camera so I would need that again. The only reason why I’m thinking about getting new phone is for the deal that my carrier is offering. But I love the mini. It fits in my pocket etc. and being on a small holding you need to keep your phone on you when you’re rural.

Resident Evil Village on the iPhone 15 Pro Max look fantastic. Gotta remember the screen is only 6.7 inches when you’re playing with the phone about 2 feet away from your face. It looks absolutely amazing just as good as a console to me anyway. I’ve gone through the whole game and I was amazed every time I walked by anything it just looks fantastic With normal settings

Just upgraded from the XS to a Product Red 13 Mini. I knew I was swapping my XS this year, as it's about to lose the latest iOS, but its battery health (or lack of it) hastened the upgrade.
Using a bumper and MagSafe grip - not a fan of full cases - and have already got myself quite a few MagSafe accessories. These include a portable charging stand that I can use on the go, and to trigger Standby Mode when I'm home.

I upgraded from my xs to 13 pro max 1tb
I want the 15 Pro but I hate that in every battery test the 15 Pro performs the worst out of the 4 models. I'm sure moving from an iPhone 13 to a 15 Pro I'd notice a difference but I'm still wondering how well it'll hold up.
I have both the 15 and 15 pro in the house and have found the pro lasting longer then the normal 15 in most day to day use especially watching/streaming video

I've regretted trading in my 13 pro for the 15 pro for months now. Due to the overheating, which I've never experienced quite like this, I'm over the 15 pro. Battery life also isn't great.
I'm into PUBG and I have no problem with that on my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 inch I even had put it on my iPhone 8 about a year ago and it was no problem and for my 7 month old IPhone 14 (non Pro) it has no problems with PUBG and last week I downloaded and tried Genshin Impact and it was flawless. I'm not saying those are as demanding games perhaps as the ones you were mentioning here but I didn't feel the need to pay another $200 CDN for the iPhone 14 pro model and then 11% tax on that because the price for my Canadian iPhone 14 brand new is 1229. You don't have to have a pro model to be a tech enthusiast, but a lot of other reviewers will say that.
I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’m thinking to upgrade to the iPhone 15 max in pink. I love pink. I just love big phones and the colour pink although I wish the pink was a brighter pink.

Personally the 120hz refresh rate is one of the most important features to me. It just makes the phone feel so much smoother and faster with everything you do.
Even if we can live with 60hz doesn’t mean apple should continue providing us the same like in the regular 15 series. I mean to say is, just because you don’t use something doesn’t mean you cannot have it.

To be all honest. The A17 Pro is impressive, problem is just the phone get too hot and drain quickly which ruin it a lot for me. I rather use my Samsung for mobile gaming. It runs longer and create less heat. (I own both s23 and iPhone 15 pro)
With my ps5 I use the ps app for remote play and use my galaxy tab s8+ because it doesn’t lag like the iPad Pro does.
Outside of gaming do you think the 15 Pro is better overall? I have an s23 and just constantly getting frustrated with certain things here and there that either Samsung or Android is doing so I'm looking to go back to Apple and think the 15 Pro might be the way for me
@@mcquoidd6917 depends if you need the pro, else the standard 15 in blue is awesome. Samsung offers a lot more for the money and it need to be settings refined to function Better, if I have to choose I love apple more and still use the 15 pro, but I go back to the s23 a lot

Please note, using videoes on samsung s23 to save battery and setting up a lot of settings makes it a lot better.
On apple all app settings is in settings where on samsung you make camera adjustments from the apps settings which is a lot less clicks. Samsung also have the side swipe to get back to the previous page a lot easier and does a lot of tasks with A LOT less click and unhandy handling of the phone

I returned mine for this reason. Apple dropped the ball with the battery and heat issues that are still present even with update. The 13 pro max was the best iPhone and I’ll stick with it until the 16 line up comes out.
I play lots of games on my iPhone and I kinda came to the opposite conclusion. The A17 is not really ready for RE4 and "console level" games. The performance seems to be extremely inconsistent and at best be described as "better than nothing". It's why I chose the iPhone 15 since it can handle 99% of games available on iOS. Perhaps this will be more important in a few years but I reckon that by the time it happens, most iPhone 15 owners would probably be ready to upgrade.
I think the regular 15 not having the 120hz screen is an automatic a no go for the price you pay for it.. 🤷🏻♂️

My not so little Apple rant.
I am fed up with the usual UA-cam shills (on Apple’s and others … reviewer freebies list … to avoid the term ‘payroll’). Not many of you (none …) mention the washed out on-screen colours of the 15 Pro/Max. I just came from a long line of Samsung phones, lately the S22 (non Ultra or + … the plain vanilla Galaxy S22) and there is simply no comparison! Samsung gives you the option of adjusting colour temperature and other nice things such as a ‘vivid’ and ‘natural’ setting with individual RGB sliders. Simply put, you can make the display look just as you want. Apple is offering … zilch! ‘True tone’ does not solve the issue neither do any of the, honestly, pretty useless settings in the Accessibility section such as ‘increase contrast’ or playing around with the horrid ‘colour filter’ options.
There is some garbage talk online that the latest ios update affected screen vividness or something to that garbage effect. B****** … it’s just a lacklustre display.
Another biggie, whilst I’m on it about the display. The 15 pro touts something like 1000 nits to 2000 nits peak brightness. What exactly the conditions have to be to achieve this … no f***** idea. Apple’s marketing department obviously had a wild time to come with this shit but let me tell you one thing; The lowly, almost forgotten (even at launch) Galaxy S22 … IS BRIGHTER AND MORE VIVID IN ALL LIGHTING CONDITIONS, be that outdoors or indoors. Believe me, I tried every possible setting on the 15 Pro … it doesn’t come close to the peak brightness of the S22. What a lot of b****** from Apple!
Anyone thinking I am just a Samsung/Android fanboy … I am getting there! I changed to 15 Pro because I bought a MacBook Pro M2 last year. I like the MacBook A LOT but I am starting to REALLY disliking the 15 Pro.
Then there is the issue of the hollow/plasticky sounding screen when tapping it. Samsung back their OLED’s with a metal plate. It means when you tap the screen it feels like solid glass not like a piece of plastic. Apple apparently attach the screen surround only and the OLED panel rests on the battery, hence the awful noise it makes when touching. Anyone saying this is not the case … tap from the edges inward and see what happens. - Really Apple?! Get your design folks sacked and try and snatch some from others, Samsung included!
Battery life is … meh but that has, for a change, been accurately documented. Mostly, I assume, to re-direct folks to the more expensive MAX. - Problem is, Apple, in their infinite wisdom (!) have crippled the Max version by introducing that stupid 5x zoom. Most people shoot probably far more within the 3x zoom area. If you look at photos from the 15 Pro Max you soon realise that a large range of the zoom range below 5x is actually digitally done by the camera resulting in clearly inferior quality. This eats also into the 3x zoom and some way below! Now look and compare the 15 Pro (non Max) photos digitally extended to 5x and the compromise is far less, almost equalling the Pro Max’s 5 times zoom quality! Any more than that and things start to fall apart quickly but really, who actually shoots 5x and more to take quality pictures with a phone? If you do … get a proper camera or, if you really must a Samsung S24 Ultra though that one is just one huge, ugly brick … . Still, the usual suspects (youtube shills) of course love that one too (in order to stay on the phone manufacturers reviewer list).
Which leaves me with the one and only redeeming feature of the 15 Pro that makes it stand out … the camera. Better than the MAX version, better probably than most Samsung’s including the new ones. It really is a great piece of technology (the camera, not the phone!).
How a company like Apple can release such a flawed, under featured turd of a flag ship phone for top dollars is beyond me, especially as the make the lovely MacBook Pro’s. They seem to have truly lost it.
I am within the 14 day return policy whilst writing this and think another Samsung (the non-Ultra … Plus or plain vanilla S24) is close.

I don't believe a 120Hz display should be considered a "pro" feature. Many Android phones offer it, and it makes a significant difference in everyday use. However, for someone who solely uses an iPhone 15 and doesn't interact with high refresh rate displays, it might not be an issue. As an Android user who wants a secondary phone with iOS, though, it becomes a concern for me.
