Lol! Yes it does. 😆
Loved it 🥰 Yandy.
Beautiful work, I made it brown with 12 shades leading into beige, Yandy.
I bet it's gorgeous 😍
Do you measure head to crochet your ruffle hat?
No. I'm used to making hats for myself . When I make them for someone else, yes. I don't like guessing when it comes to hat. Everyone head is different.
Very ❤nice
Thank you!
So beautiful, thank you

Love your video did you say you finished your last row of ruffles with dc instead of hdc?
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I used dc instead of hdc. Just wanted to see the difference.
@KamTaiHandmadeCreations it is beautiful i have made a lot of them in different ways but never your way until now thank you so much miracles and blessings
Hello!!! How do you make the hat be tight and not big as far as the hat part, not the ruffles? Or does it depend on the type of yarn you use? Thanks
Hello! The best type of yarn to use is a worsted weight yarn. Like the yarn I'm using. You don’t want it to be floppy, so you would use a thicker "stiffer" yarn. Instead of a cotton yarn, which is a little loose flimsy yarn. The yarn I have here is a Red Heart Royal Blue Category 4 yarn, and the green is the same type. You must also keep in mind that yarn has a bit of give, so when you put on your hat, it will stretch a bit. So the best way to make sure it fits your head like you want is to keep trying it on. Here is a link to a hat chart www.diyfromhome.com/hat-size-chart/hat-size-chart-3/
A measuring tape is a great tool to have in your crochet tool stash as well. I hope this answers your question.
Happy crocheting!
I’m sorry! I’m seeing mesh stitches before the ruffles in the last part of the finished product, how did that come about if I may ask?
I had to look first before I answered. 😉 No mesh stitch. I just skipped a dc because it would have been too much. I'm just skipping a dc. It doesn't affect the size. ❤
Made one for my sister.❤
Niiice! I hope she loved it!
For the ruffles did you HDC 4 in each stitch for the last row too, or does the number decrease as you go??
@@ria_supremacy i just skipped a stitch instead of going into each stitch.
What size hook did you use???
5mm hook
Thank you your work is amazing
Thank you so much! I appreciate that. 🙏🏾
How many layers are the ruffles. So beautiful
Right
How many yarn did you use
@Tashey181 I used 2 skeins of blue and 1/2 a skein of green.
Which yarn do you suggest and how much did you use for this?
@siwaphiwembatha1755 That depends. If you want your hat to be more floppy, you can use a cotton yarn. If you want it to be stiff like mine, then use a category 4 yarn worsted weight. I used only one skein, you should probably only need 1 skein as well. I hope this helps! Happy crocheting!
Thank you for this I had it but the way everybody explained it made me feel like it was wrong
You're welcome! I'm so glad I was able to clear it up for you. 😁
How long did it take for you to make it?
Only a couple of hours.
My hats tends to come out more flat then round 😢 what am I doing wrong ?
I"m sorry to hear you're having difficulties. You may have too many stitches in one row. Make sure when you make an increase row to add just a row of whatever stitch your using so that the hat can turn in and not be flat. You can also try a smaller hook. I hope this helps.

@@elisatoteng 1hdc in the next 2 stitches, then 2 hdc in the next stitch.
How can i measure the head,if am making it for someone
Please
Hello! Here's a link for standard head sizes. From newborn to adult.

If you have a measuring tape measure around to the front of the head, make sure you have the hair included.
@@KamTaiHandmadeCreations thank you ma'am
The pattern please.
I will be adding a patterns shop very soon. But I would suggest you pause the video, or you can slow it down in the settings.
Very nice how much plz
Hello, pls send me a message on Instagram @kamtaihandmadecrochet.
Why is my circle becoming a spiral as it becomes bigger? What I'm I doing wrong? I did everything she said I didn't miss or add more than i should 😢😢
@@ablavinuwordu6820 A spiral? Are you using more than one color?
I am not sure what I have done wrong because I end up with more stitches
I'm sorry that's happening. Make sure you count your stitches as you go. Your first row is 10, second row 20. Your increasing by 10 stitches for every row until you're satisfied with the size. When you finish your row, count your stitches. You may be adding an extra stitch.
Thank you
My pleasure! Ask me any questions you have. I'm here to help.
Hi, bring your camera in please
@theresaconley3455 Hi, you can zoom in.
How many layers are the ruffles. So beautiful
Hello, and thank you for your comment. It's 3 rows. I wanted to see what it would look like. I did them in DC instead of HDC. I think I like the HDC better.
Hello!!! How do you make the hat be tight and not big as far as the hat part, not the ruffles? Or does it depend on the type of yarn you use? Thanks
On row 13 do HDC every 6 sts and then DC 2 together and that should make it fit tighter. Hope that helps.
Use a smaller needle
