Hypnagogia - IBM PC + Archipelago PUNCHER

I have a fantasy manufacturer that is NOT related to any crimes, for once!
The Archipelago PUNCHER is a sound expansion for the IBM PC made by Archipelago, a chip manufacturer somewhere in Sagadahoc county, ME. It can either be used as a PCM DAC or a TIA, but never both.
My idea isn't that it is a TIA, but rather a chip similar to one, with no pitch issues.
