I wasn't disrespected by the boss either, I killed him on my first try and quite quickly (which surprised me), I found him easier than the stone monkey. I only found out that he disrespected the players by watching videos. I found this incredible, there is a whole aspect to the fight that I didn't see during my gameplay that happened to other people
I highly recommend trying new game plus, the feeling of getting revenge on all the bosses that packed you up is too good to ignore, btw if you want to use the Wukong stance outside of chapter six, you'll have to beat the game three times, max out all the relics, and strictly get the true ending where you fight Erlang. However, while the damage it does feels great and the voice lines you get are empowering, the stance only lasts for a few moments.

You could have broken the rhinos horn, you had to do focused power attacks not light attacks. Great playthrough bro. Also you need to do NG+ if you want to get the full bullking armor set.

To explain the ending, the old monkey is actually a bad guy, he wants another monkey, the Destined One, to inherit Wukong's power, but not his mind, so the Heavenly Court could enslave Wukong with the Golden Headband again, he doesn't know that you already got Wukong's mind and memories from Erlang, hence why at the end, instead of taking the headband, the Destined One shot a laser out of his eye, that was the sign that Wukong has finally been reborn, in the original story, when Wukong was born, he shot lasers from his eyes
And Wukong's original goal was to get rid of the headband, and since you didn't accept the headband at the end and he was reborn, his goal was complete, and thats the good ending

And if you actually paid attention to the true ending cutscene Wukong literally says "Watch me rip it off and break free" which means he considers the headband a prison

Ive beet the final boss just now and now I’m off to new game plus what a beautiful game one of the best I’ve seen for such a long time with a great gameplay and excellent storytelling I have not felt so good about a game since God of War Ragnarok and Monsters Hunter World Iceborne it definitely deserves the game of the year
Bruh the only problem I had on chapter 6 is dying to all those bosses and ALLLLL OF THEM WAS EASY AS HELL. Especially that deer. When he got all his health back I was like hell nah I'm done.
The final boss is really one that I wish was harder cause he got all that flash only for Erlang to be harder. It's such a shame you never got to see his special cutscene grabs though, you're just too good 😭🙏
Well, iirc, the story is that the plan was always for the Destined One to beat him, but not inherit Wukong's memories, this allowing the Old Monkey to betray us and place the Golden Circlet on our head and essentially make us a pawn of the Heavens much like Wukong himself was. Him being easier than Elrang was probably to drive players to finish his fight first so they get that bad ending, and wind up freshly motivated to take down Elrang and get the good ending. At least that's what I think.
The final boss fight was so easy for you because Erlang Shen has trained your reflexes. This is also the reason why I hope they can raise the difficulty of the last boss fight for players who finished Erlang.
Heads up if u plan on doing new game+ u would slide through it like butter first try every boss nd for the *LOONG TRANSFORMATION: his ability is to deflect or counter enemy attack by timing your heavy attack b4 the enemy attacks land which gains focus points, after gaining 1-3 focus points den spam ur heavy*
actually you can keep push bajie around and he will smash you, and stand near bajie use 4 focus heavy he will said wukong you're back? is just a easter egg
@@Comedydude1316 honestly NG+ only the final boss gave me excess trouble, with the Bishui Beast, Yaksha King and Erlang taking two fights. You don’t have to go NG++ if you don’t want all the relics, cuz if you played optimally (got everything from both runs) you’ll have enough for all achievements. Maxing all the spirits and armor though… is a different story. For whatever reason the game decides you can’t just buy more Celestial Ribbons, Blood Bull Iron and Void Knots. It gets to be pretty irritating.

I think he gets hard at ng++. At that time erlang is a cakewalk but the broken shell is hard to beat
For the rhino horn, you would need to do a 3 charge heavy. I did it with smash stance, not sure about the other stances.
