Brings back memories of me standing waist deep in water on the sandbar near the caravan park at Narrabeen catching luderick ! Back then ( late 70s early 80s) i could go down to putney on the Parramatta river and get all the weed i wanted in 5 minutes but alas this supply is no more 😫
Yes all changes over time the Parra river is to clean now for good weed to grow.

Another great way to catch luderick is to use metal lures u can also get alot of tailor

Hi fellas I love luderick fishing and have watched all your videos I’m heading up to Forster for the long weekend and am planning on doing abit of luderick fishing as I spotted some huge ones last time I was there but didn’t have the right gear I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction to finding some weed up there , cheers guys

Luderick totally overrated fish. Too fishy even with great prep & fresh.
We are all different I guess, some people like spicy food and some don`t I guess fish is the same
