I think she was mad she couldn’t get Clearance on her visa to do the set at the Grammys…she was clearly upset in this performance kinda phoning it in…band however on point!
I guess that shows the "power of addiction" that certain substances have over a person- i.e., Amy would have rather gotten "stoned/drunk" rather than do this show.

The saddest thing about all this is that she had Borderline personality disorder, which justified MANY of her behaviors, her vulnerability to drugs, the grief she experienced at the end of a relationship, her self-destructive behavior, among other things. However, like most Borderline people, she was extremely talented at what she set out to do, but oscillated between anxiety and mourning. There was a lack of empathy, care and attention to the cries for help, like in Rehab, where she says that "All you need is a friend", the impression I have is that they sucked her in every way, the media, the family, the producers, wanted Amy the artist so much that they forgot to look at Amy the person. I know that you are in a good place, and if I could ask God for something, it would be to have the opportunity to give you a hug, even if in silence. Such a loss . What a talent but her family let her down. The only one who really cared about her was her grandmother. The proof girl had noone to guide her. Her family have a lot to answer for . If she had proper parents she'd be alive today happy healthy and singing her heart out with a child or 6 like she wanted. Poor girl.
