  • A big thank you for taking me to the 1000 subscriber mark. Take a look at Blackshaw Moor club site where we hike to The Roaches and visit Lud’s Church, a deep narrow chasm in the rocks hidden in woods. We also walk around Tittesworth Reservoir and drive to Leek. If you’re interested in steam trains we visit Churnet Valley steam railway station in Cheddleton.

      Hello Howard. We really enjoyed re-visiting the area and exploring it all again. I agree the Mrs is a marvelous camera woman (she told me this !). Thanks very much for watching and take care. Rob

      I can highly recommend the site. It feels smaller than it actually is due to the tiers and individual small areas which makes it more interesting. Thanks for watching Gail. Take care. Rob

    Is the cost a lot more for a fully serviced pitch? I’m not a member of either club yet. Hopefully getting my caravan in Spring 2025 and I’ll join then. Are you members of both clubs? Loving your videos Rob and Gail 😘

      Hi Barbs, We are only members of the caravan and Motorhome club (CAMC) at present. Their pitches tend to be more generous in size and from what we gather their facility blocks are generally a little smarter. We use all our own onboard facilities hence having a separate shower cubicle in our end washroom and staying on fully serviced pitches. The CAMC charge pitch price and per person price which is good when travelling solo. At Blackshaw Moor a fully serviced pitches is £5 per night more than a standard pitch. The club is always there to offer a helping hand 👍. You must be very excited and can’t wait for spring 😃. Thanks for watching and best wishes, Rob & Gail 😀

    Hey rob, great video again, Staffordshire is quite beautiful no matter what time of the year, did you adopt the cat? Can’t believe you garage the van.

      Really enjoyed the scenery James and we were lucky with the weather. We thought the cat had been left behind but the warden told us she belongs to the farm above the site and has been hanging around all season. We left a stash of food at the bollard and told the warden. She will feed/make the next people on that pitch aware. Oh yeah my garage ! I purposely built it for the caravan, very convenient. Thanks for watching and take care. Cheers. Rob

    love the videos but please get a windbreak for the microphone, I have to mute the sound through most of it, other than that they are great .

    Hi Rob, have you done a vlog on the camc site park coppice at Coniston? Have you been to that site, I've been searching through your content and unable to find it if you have, could you please share a link? Thank you 😊

      Hi Mark, We haven’t stayed at Park Coppice as they don’t have fully serviced pitches. Have you seen our video of Pier Cottage, Coniston, our favourite site. It’s right on the waters edge and approx five minutes walk to the village. Thanks for tuning in and commenting. All the best, Rob

      @@robswiseways5697 Hi Rob, ok great, yes I seen your video of pier cottage about 2 weeks ago, wonderful views of conistion water on pier cottage site from your pitch number 5 but it looks small & tight in comparison to park coppice and park coppice looks like it has better facilities too so just thought you may of been. Appologies I didn't know you only stay on sites with serviced pitches. :)

    Hi Rob, can I ask what hooks are you using for the waste pipe please? Many thanks

    • @robswiseways5697
      @robswiseways5697  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Jim, I made the hooks myself out of 3mm diameter stainless steel rod. You can purchase this from ebay. I fashioned two hooks slightly different in size to allow for the fall, meaning one hook is 10mm smaller than the other. I show this in my video titled Caravan Fully Serviced Pitches - 3 of 4 Grey Waste Drainage. Cheers. Rob
